Super 8 by Wyndham Lubbock Civic Center North

Overpriced for condition of property. Needs renovating. ||Staff very nice.||No breakfast, although advertised. Ice machine out of order. Had to go to front desk for new key card every time I needed in to room.||Deadbolt did not work. Single woman travelling alone - not OK.||Would not stay in a Super 8 again.||Location was good

OMG- worst experience EVER! We showed up at 2am for check in for being in town for a job. We had called prior and confirmed this check in time was okay. We arrive and the woman at the desk is in her pajamas and barefoot. The lobby smells horrible. The woman has the worst attitude ever and gets on to us for being there late. Whatever- I move on and she needs a payment. I say “let me go grab my boyfriend’s card from the car” to which she says “Gay? No no no. Go away. Cancel- Go somewhere else” To which I respond with quite a few 4 letter words and move on. Stacy at the Holiday Inn took great care of us and was so kind and turned this awful experience around. NEVER EVER waste your time with this lowly motel with lowly service.

Updating my review again as it has been a month and they have not refunded me $138. My experience was different to the other reviews. The room I stayed in (201) was super clean and nice. The manager was great and it was a better experience than other hotels I stayed for the same price. Only thing is I was supposed to get a refund of $138 becuase of a mistake. Its been 2 weeks and I have not received the refund. Please give me my money back. I went to the hotel and asked the manager about my refund. They took my phone number and name but I still have not received my $138 refund after almost a month.

We are staying here the tonight for a birthday gathering for my kid and my guest was told they couldn’t swim. That’s bs when we paid for the room and it’s for my kids to have fun

Breakfast was a bowl of old Frosted Flakes. The milk was kept behind the counter. Flagged for misinformation: 0/10 I didn't get a dirty room, I'd like to thank everyone else for booking those ahead of time. But the door didn't shut completely and it was cold out: 4/10 Considering all this though, reasonably affordable, and off the highway: 6/10 Would not hate coming back.

Positive: The room I stayed in was absolutely clean and nice. The manager was great. Negative: I extended my stay and they accidentally charged me one of the days I had already paid for. A refund was issued but its been 2 weeks and I never got the refund.

It can not be me!! I'm sorry I am very picky about where I lay my head! I'm not better than anyone but geeze!! First off that smell in the office! I can not stand that crap! Hey don't ask for anything extra you will be charged! Their parking? Forget it! Believe me you are being watched!! These places are cleaned with simple green! Um can we use some bleach? Especially in the tubs and toilet! One thing I can not stand is getting in a shower and slime in that shower disgusting! Always have a pair of flip flops $1 just for showers to you will thank me later!

It's just a place to sleep . The owner is awesome, rooms are fairly clean , and could use a good scrub . Bed was comfortable, but bring your own pillow . I will stay again .
