NillDisgusting! I don't know how this place gets any good reviews. It is rundown. There are papers posted everywhere with rules. One is "no more than 4 people in the elevator" and when you ride the rickety elevator you will find out why. The room is gross. There was mold in the caulking around the tub. The tub faucet was coming out of the wall. Water comes from both the shower head and the tub faucet with no way to change it. The floor is sticky. The carpet feels damp. The blanket on the bed was shredded. It's just filthy.

★★★★★My husband and I arrived here after many days of camping and hiking in Big Bend National Park. We needed someplace to clean up, and this spot in Alpine was perfect. It was very clean and accomodating. Everything was spotless, the staff was helpful, and it was quiet. The next morning, their included hot breakfast was quite impressive: make-your-own tostada with tortillas, scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, veggies, salsa, shredded cheese, etc. – very good! I would definitely stay here if I ever pass through Alpine, TX again.

★I don’t know how anyone could rate this hotel anything more than a one!!! It had four walls and that’s about all I can positively say about it. Our first room had moldly, slimy water in the fridge and it smelled like someone had pooped in it. When I complained they put us in a “better” room🙄. Fridge in there wasn’t working either and the bathroom was so gross my kids wouldn’t get in the shower or brush their teeth from the sink water, instead using bottled water. We chose not to eat breakfast there because everything was soooo nasty🤮. We tried everything to find a different hotel, but they were all booked due to being so close to the port and the cruises (which is why we were there too!!!!!). Do yourself a favor and choose Comfort Inn or Best Western if you’re staying in the area. There’s no way they could be worse than this nasty place!!!!!

NillConvenient and clean. Indoor pool is not heated and pool area was air-conditioned- Really cold water. I guess it would be better to visit in summer as opposed to spring. Check-in/out staff was great. Owners/some of housekeeping could have been friendlier.

NillHad a great stay here, Mary was SUPER nice and accommodating to not only me but everyone I seen her interact with. Really made the stay that much better. Close to so many things. Great value for the price. I would recommend.

★Positive: It is a clean, reasonably priced place to stay. We were picking up cruisers from their trip and hotels in Galveston were much higher. Negative: ""

NillFirst and foremost, the elevator is broken, my husband is a disabled veteran with a bad knee, no rooms available on the first floor of course. There is duct tape on the stucco on the building. My bathroom floor was so sticky I had to wipe it down with a hot towel. Jacuzzi is inoperable. A very basic, mediocre protein less breakfast. The shower head is so gunked up, it doesn't let good water flow through. It took me 10 minutes to rinse my hair. Over $300.00 for two nights😂 what a waste.
