Susan at the front desk was awesome! I actually left holiday inn lobby to come stay here cause of her! I had a great room in mins I don't know who the white lady is in the back but if she ever come out of that office huffy and puffy at staff again while I'm eating breakfast 45 feet away. I'll make sure management knows who ruined the day.

Great little hotel that is a total throw back to my days staying in hotels across the country on road trips with my parents. Room was clean and large. Bed was comfortable. Service, breakfast, and amenities are great.

Decent rooms, awful customer service. I booked 3 rooms and later in the evening when I had to leave for work I was told there was a travel rewards processing glitch for the room I was in. Yet all 3 rooms were on the same booking? I was told I had to pay a rate 2x the original booking amount, or troubleshoot the problem myself with US bank or I would be tossed out of the room that night. I asked to talk to a manager and was flatly and firmly told NO! Are you kidding me???

I booked a two night stay here in one of the first floor King Suites with a 2 person jacuzzi tub. After the first night stay. I specifically went to the front desk just after 12pm to request my room be serviced, specifically to make sure the tub was cleaned. I left the location and returned about 3pm, to find someone from either house keeping or the front desk had entered my room and placed the “do not disturb” sign on my door, and did not service the room. I went back to the front desk and made the young lady aware of the situation, and she said she would make sure it was taken care of. I left the hotel again to return about 6pm to find the room still had not been serviced. I went to the front desk to be told that housekeeping had already left for the day and all he could offer me was to change rooms. Which meant me packing all of my belongings again and moving. So I said that if unacceptable and I would handle it with the front desk upon check out. Well upon check out the front desk said that only the General Manager could do any type of refund. So I tried to call and talk with this lady for 2 days straight, even if she was available she would not talk with me. To be told she would have her front desk supervisor investigate. To then find out that the front desk supervisor does not come on duty until 3pm, which is after the time the housekeeping staff is gone. To again be told that she, the front desk supervisor, cannot authorize any type of refund, if will have to be the General Manager. If this is the level of service you give to your guest on a regular basis. You should not be a General Manager!!

I love this property, the old Shilo Inn. It's my Go-To for a local escape. 1BR king w/jacuzzi tub & kitchen are only rooms worth renting imho. (Or get riverview at the very least!) CONS: I really wish the management would take maintenance & security more seriously...several units in the rear bldg have bent doors you can see light thru the jamb, and windows that dont lock. Walkways are usually sticky/dirty. TV is confusing to over 50 crowd, with cable and roku, several inputs, and no instruction sheet.. Don't leave valuables in your rigs! PROS: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Walking distance to everything. Really great amenities: Pool area is amazing when open. Billiards table available. Adequate free breakfast. Snacks/bev/drinks available for purchase. (WINCO is close, so get your necessities elsewhere to save $) Great front-end staff !!(shoutout to Gage 😉) Dog & kid-friendly property. Decently priced. One-of-a-kind hotel with a prime location in the Columbia Basin .

Overall this is an alright place to stay. We had to ask to switch rooms because the first one we were given keys to smelled like smoke really bad. The rooms definitely could be cleaned better. However, they have a really clean pool and it's a good location on the Columbia River.

The hotel is in a great location for walking the river trail. They have bikes you can use. Pool area looked okay. We had to walk past people sprawled out on the walkway to our room. Two guys were sitting at the bottom of our ramp using drugs, right where you had to walk. That could have been bad if we had kids with us! Our room smelled SO bad of smoke. We should've pushed for a different room, but it was very packed. This hotel appears to be a long term rental for those in need of housing. Room was not up to standard for what they advertise. Dirty furniture and old nail polish in bathtub. Bugs and cobwebs surround the light fixtures. We were on a road trip and had to stop to do laundry the next day, because our clothes (clean ones we brought in) smelled so strong of old cigarette smoke. We stayed in this location years ago, when it was Shilo Inn. Same experience, except wasn't so smokey. But, had the same characters hanging around and dirtiness of rooms. We thought since it changed handa it would be different, but not the case. If anything worse! I saw one review said they had to pay for parking. We didn't get charged for parking. But, you may find parking near your room hard to find. This hotel is sitting in such an amazing location, with great opportunity. I wish it would clean up a lot more and maybe hire security to manage the negative issues many had!

Twice I've asked for water in the gym and Sauna yesterday and today both times nothing I asked yesterday "oh I'll get maintenance on that then today all I got was "oh there's water in the gym" no there's not then she proceeds to tell me we'll there's water at the end of the counter if you don't want to do youe job go home and get somebody that's not going to be lazy
