I love everything about my stay at TownePlace Suites Richland! My company put me up at this hotel for an extended stay (will be 6 months by the time my work contract is over) and it is like home. It's quiet, I never here folks running through the hallway or talking loudly. I never hear folks television sets in adjacent rooms. The place is clean, safe and staff respects my space. The area is easily accessible to the highway for my work commute and close to various eateries, shopping, and more! On a good day, the views of rolling hills is nice as well as a view of the riverside depending on which side of the hotel you're on. I had the chance to select my rooms and get the chance to see both views. Breakfast options are nice, wish I could take advantage of it more but I also get to cook my own in my room which is a bonus for me. Front desk staff is so nice and pleasant, as a woman of color, they never made me feel unwelcomed in this area. 5-Stars well-earned. I would stay here again if I took another contract in the near future. Minor cons, but no loss of stars for it as out of their control...you will hear the highway traffic drive past, weather lately has been gray but guessing this is Washington weather.

Excellent stay. Staff was top notch and incredibly friendly. Room was clean and well appointed. The free breakfast was about what you'd expect but the coffee was excellent and was available all day. At checkin we were given coupons for a free appetizer at 2 different local restaurants. We will stay here again.

Absolutely perfect room for us. Spotless, well appointed little kitchen, fantastic shower, extremely comfortable bed, full control of the temp vs. having a limiter, and incredible customer service. It fur baby was even welcome. We will definitely stay here again!

So we are on our 3rd night for me and my husbands 2nd week. I love the set up. The 2 rooms are perfect for us. I can watch tv late into the night while he sleeps, he can do all his computer work while I am cooking in the full kitchen, watching tv in the other room or even relaxing in the bathroom. The thermostat being separate is a life changer for me. Suffering from a severe case of menopause we kept one room at 64 & the other at 72. Easy peasy! The only issues I really had was #1) my spy detector went off all over the place here. I spent the 1st 24 hours trying to find out why. When I was accepting the fact I was safe I relaxed a bit. #2) I hate the TV. The fact every time you want to search the guide it sends you to their programming. You can’t watch one channel while checking the guide. After a weeks stay it gets annoying to say the least. It’s my least favorite tv set up in all our stay’s so far this year and this is our 4th state and I couldn’t count the rooms. I appreciate the level of clean tho. We will definitely be repeat customers. Edit: figured out the tv. Menu/guide different buttons so small you need a microscope to see

We stayed in a corner two-bedroom unit on the highway side of the hotel. The room was very clean but you could tell it needs to be remodeled soon as it does have some age on it. The highway noise goes right through the walls so if you are a light sleeper you will not like to be on that end of the hotel. Apparently a common complaint here is that the TVs don't work. And of course, ours did not. When we called the staff about it, they were very nice and had someone come up as soon as they could to take care of it. The person who did the adjustment was very friendly and very helpful. The hot breakfast is fine. Nothing special but good. Besides the road noise from the highway, the hotel was actually very quiet. We would definitely stay here again but we would probably get on the other end of the hotel this time.

I stay in Marriotts all over the world.. this has to be the worst experience EVER!||||Stayed at this Marriott for a month and was treated well as an Ambassador Elite member. I took a week vacation to the Philippines, and when I returned all my belongings were gone through, and I hand alot of stuff missing, including currency I collected from other countries as souvenirs. Never felt so violated in my life. Beware of this Marriott, so many more better and honest Marriotts in the area.

I usually opt for Marriott hotels and have frequented many TownePlace Suites. Unfortunately, this particular one falls short of even an average hotel, regardless of the brand. Positives: - Proximity to an extensive park system along the river and several restaurants within easy walking distance. - Complimentary parking. - The kitchen is well-equipped. - The bed was excellent - clean, firm, with a good selection of pillows. Negatives: - Lack of a swimming pool or jacuzzi. The gym is small and basic. The access system is problematic, occasionally failing and necessitating key replacements (no mobile key access available). - Rooms lack USB chargers, and the bathrooms feel outdated. - The internet worked for my laptop but not my phone - I can't recall this happening before at a Marriot. - The TV channel choice was basic. - Customarily, I enjoy complimentary coffee in the lobby and during breakfast. This was the first hotel where coffee was either unavailable or insufficient for a full cup, despite multiple attempts throughout my stay, including during breakfast. - The complimentary breakfast area is cramped, and the quality is inferior compared to other Marriotts. The variety is limited, and hot items were not replenished promptly. - The server, though busy, seemed unable to manage the customer flow effectively. - Earplugs were necessary due to the audible TV and conversation from the adjacent room throughout the evening and morning. - Overall, this stay did not represent good value.
