This is really located at the awesome place, right next to the river. Our room had the view of the river, which was really nice. Morning walk was so nice and serene, if you like morning walk , with a breeze on your face while enjoying a view of ducks swimming, try this place. Service was great and friendly. My bathroom sink had drain issue, and shower curtain was too short, so water was all over the floor. Otherwise, it was a great stay

Rooms were nice and I really enthe outdoor hot tub But was not told ahead of time that the rooms didn't have AC...was left for me to get surprised to find my room was 75°. But they were great about changing my room to one where the window could be opened. Breakfast in the restaurant was great. Hotel is very unique and staff is great.

I always stay at this place when I come to Richland. The staff is great especially the restaurant staff, Mary Beth is fantastic. She is always very friendly, fast and responsive. Makes great coffee as well I wish the gym had a few more pieces of equipment for the size that is.

The hotel is good. I like the 1st floor, which has parking right outside of the sliding doors of rooms. There is plenty of parking and guest door access to your room location. However, breakfast is lacking. We have stayed here a couple of times, and the food has always been low and very difficult to get a beverage, especially water or coffee.

We stayed here for two nights, and our experience was disappointing in several ways. Upon check-in, the front desk mentioned that breakfast was to the left, which led us to believe it was included. The following morning, we had breakfast and were surprised to receive a bill, as it was not complimentary. As a Platinum member, I found this especially surprising since we were on a cross-country trip and stayed at eight other Holiday Inn Express locations, all of which offered an identical breakfast at no extra cost. I had booked the same reward night hotel room option at every location, so the lack of transparency here was unexpected. It would have been helpful if the front desk had clarified that breakfast was not included. Additionally, the hotel was only about 20% occupied, yet all the guests were placed in close proximity. Given the thin walls and floors, we could hear our neighbors and the people above us throughout our stay. Spacing out guests more thoughtfully could have minimized this issue. Another frustration was the pet fee, which is charged nightly at this location, unlike other Holiday Inns where it typically applies per stay or every three nights. Despite the high fee, the pet waste dispensers were empty, which was disappointing. Overall, the experience fell short of the standard we’ve come to expect from Holiday Inn Express.

The hotel experience was fine. The rooms were very clean and staff were overall attentive, but left a little wanting in professionally initiating greetings and breakfast service. The best experience I had in any hotel in a long time, though, was with a bartender named Raquel! If you stay here - even if the bar looks quiet - I’d highly recommend visiting in the evening and seeing if she’s there! Raquel was the both most professional and most enjoyable staff I interacted with during my stay and modeled what ideal customer care and service should look like. (I travel full time for work, so I’ve seen quite a bit and can speak to this!) She paid close attention to my needs, checked in on me, and was just so genuinely kind. I hope the hotel recognizes how awesome it is to have such a professional staff as Raquel - and that you get to cross paths with her, too! Best part of my stay!

I have never ever had a bad experience in a hotel like I have had here. I want customers to be aware of my situation before booking here. I was charged a certain amount for the stay, then was told I was going to get refunded a small portion because my reservation got mixed up from 2 queen beds to a king bed. The "credit" was just the destination fee being waved, no credit there! Also my reservation had breakfast for the next morning. Woke up the next morning headed to get breakfast, while sitting down for service heard other customers complaining that they had to wait over 45 mins for their breakfast, on top of that there order was wrong and on top of that it was cold! Hearing that just made us make the decision to check out earlier and just have breakfast elsewhere. When checking out I mentioned to the front guy that we were not having breakfast due to the time we would have to wait and for the poor food quality. He stated he would refund the breakfast prize we had paid for our reservation. Keep in mind it was a family a 5. He said he would only be able to refund $12. Mind blowing. I didn't have the energy to waste my time arguing about the situation. So I agreed and told him to send my receipt to me through email, since the guy was having an issue with the printer now! Left thinking I was going to receive my receipt eventually, but never did. Keep in mind my stay was on March 1st, checked out March 2nd. I never received a receipt sent to my email for my stay. So I checked my credit card transaction to see what I was charged. I was charged the full amount of what I was charged for a king bed room, never was given my $12 credit for not having breakfast there due to issues they had not us. On top of that I noticed they had done 4 more charges on my credit card of $7.05 in different days up until now that weren't even relevant to my stay or I have authorized. Be aware of staying here, and always get a paper receipt here if you decide to stay here. Also make sure to check your credit card for any additional charges they could be making on your card.

Not sure why this place has such high reviews other than the river view. They charge you for the food you get free at any other Holiday Inn location, they also did not have an available cart to transport our things up to the room on the second floor. I’ve had surgery last week and not supposed to be lifting over 10 pounds for the next 3 weeks, we asked the desk multiple times for the cart and were told we don’t know where it is someone hasn’t brought it back, the lack of urgency on their part was terrible and they didn’t bother to offer to look for it either. Holiday inn owes me a refund, and put my safety at risk. My 11 year old child was having to help carry everything because I physically could not. Your staff didn’t offer to help there either. Poor customer service
