Observatory Inn

Stayed here for a night with my dog after exploring the North Cascades and it was nice! The parking lot was easy to find, the room was cozy and clean and the hotel is right above lots of shops in the town. Really nice being able to find such a nice unique hotel for such a good price that also allows dogs. I would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Withrop. Important to know that it is unfortunately not friendly to anyone who is in a wheelchair or has difficulties with stairs, as there are a few short sets of wooden stairs between the parking lot and rooms, as well as a longer flight down from the rooms to the restaurant/street down below.

Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. We had rooms 1 and 4 and room 4 had access to a small shared balcony overlooking downtown Winthrop and Jupiter cafe right underneath. We enjoyed watching the sunset there. The hotel is basically downtown so it was great to just downstairs and walk around. Self check in was very easy.

Really enjoyed our stay. Nice large room with a comfortable bed. Close to town but still quiet in the evenings.
