Staff was awesome. I loved the old school furniture made to last they are working on renovations at this time I felt very comfortable beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. They were very accommodating for my extended stays. Exterior doors are always a favorite of mine because I can park right near my room. I ended up spending 4 nights and will stay again when back in area. They do take Clc cards at this location

We came into Morgantown for my graduation and staying over night was required. What should have been a great evening turned quickly into one of disgust. || Getting checked in took forever- had to call a phone number and waited for 15 minutes for no one to show up. Called again, finally someone showed up. We went to the room and it was run down but appeared okay. ||We went to dinner, came back and the key wouldn’t work. Then, again wait for someone to answer the phone to come fix the card. Then we arrived in the room and took a shower. That’s when all of the critters started coming out: in the bathroom, on the dresser, on the bathroom floor (numerous crawlers on the floor), behind the picture, and on the headboard of the bed!! ||We were checked in a total of 2-3 hours ( 1.5 of those hours we were away at dinner) and checked out immediately. We were offered another room but after what we saw- no thank you. We were offered a refund by an employee and the manager refused it since we were in the room for too long. ||Out of towners- You’ve been warned!!! We also have several pictures to back this claim up.

This place is absolutely disgusting do NOT stay here. Curtains weren’t even long enough to cover the window so people can look into your room. The flooring was disgusting. Fridge had hair and crap in it. Opened the toliet up and well you can see the photo. Trash and garbage everywhere.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a WVU game and we were absolutely blown away by the hospitality of the owner and his wife! My boyfriend wanted to surprise me and asked if there was any kind of special decoration the hotel was able to do, as this was a pretty big weekend for us, and they said of course! He just expected maybe like towels in the shape of WVU or something, but nothing prepared him (and me!) for the beautiful decorations we walked into! Balloons and gold confetti and flowers EVERYWHERE. We were in absolute awe by the amount of love and care put into it. It was so pretty and I still can't get over how amazing and sweet it was! Just wow! Upon check out, we learned the owners wife, which I regret to say I didn't get her name, actually decorated it for us! She was so incredibly kind and sweet and gave me hugs and wished us well on our travel back home. Absolutely would stay here again!! It's so clear that they put in lots of love and care into their business and really value their guests! I wish I was able to include photos, but unfortunately it won't let me.

Got to the hotel before 10pm. No one in the office, just a number to call. The guy on the phone was nice enough. Unlocked a box on a locker for a room, which only had 1 key. We went to the room and the key didn't work. We looked in the window and could see that either someone is currently staying there or has stayed there as the bed was clearly slept in, and I think I saw a hotel key on the table inside. We go back to the office to explain to the guy on the phone. He apologizes, unlocks another locker door. He says 1 room number when the key says a different room number. He says that room only has a king when there is 3 of us staying in the room. We explain that will not work. He unlocks another locker door, and now we have a new room. We go to the room. No light switches (that work) anywhere. The room smells like smoke, which I am allergic to as well as another person in our party. There are no towels for us to take a shower with. We go back to the office AGAIN to explain. The guy on the phone says there should be 2. There were none. The pillows are a joke they are so small. Each TV channel is static. The curtains are being held closed with a hair clip. Holy crap this room smells so bad. I'm going to be sick in the morning I can tell. The light on the fire alarm is being covered with foil. The sheets has dirt on them, even underneath the covers. Has someone already slept in these sheets too? I think I might get a disease if I use the shower. One person in our party took a shower and said there was no hot water. The towels were even dirty and we only got 2 and 1 towel for the floor, even though they had a paper towel for us when we get out of the shower! I should have paid the extra money for a nicer hotel but my sister was trying to be cheap. This is what you get when you try to go cheap. There's no way the 5 star reviews are real. The vast majority of reviews on here are 1 star or 5 stars. That alone is very suspicious.

Wanted a cheap hotel, got a cheap hotel. I arrived at 6pm, but no one was at the front desk. I called their service number and got placed on hold for 15min. They said someone would come, and after another 10min, a guy who speaks no English gives me the key. When I came into the room, I immediately saw a roach. I used the bathroom and got locked out cause of the handle. I tried calling service, but after waiting 10min I forced the door open. I did not stay and am trying to get a refund.

If you could give negative i would. I decided to chime in on this place because I keep seeing good reviews and I promise you from being former housekeeper here save your money. I don't care if there is no other rooms your better off in your car o swear. None of the good reviews are legit. I don't see how this place is in business. But that's america for you allow other to come here own stuff and get by with mold needles in the tissue compartments. Like it was a hazard to work there. Place should be condemned. But it's allowed because sadly it's not white owned(i don't like to put race into anything is just facts of staying in multiple hotels in Morgantown myself and owned by others and every hotel had mold falling apart many standards if owned by an American wouldn't be allowed to happen)!
