NillWe stayed here one night and could not find a fault in the location. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable. It had a nice pool, and fitness room. It was quiet and we all got as good a night sleep as you can expect in a motel. The bed was comfortable. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend this location to anyone traveling in the area.

NillWe stayed here 2 nights. Rooms were okay but I would like to say that the hospitality shown from Terrie at the front desk was superb. She dealt with our issues diligently and I couldn't ask for better service. My family and I appreciates her very much. Thank you!

★★Making the reservation, I stated I needed a room near the front of the hotel|(due to mobility issues) and the pull out bed made up. Arrived at the hotel and no|one was at the front desk. Receptionist finally comes out of the office, hands me the |keys, not explaining where our room was located. He stated, just pull around to the |side, the room is located by the first side door.||Walked the length of the corridor, no room number. Back to the|front desk, and he says to go to the rear of the hotel. (As far away from the front desk|as possible). Found the room—-nicely updated furniture, comfortable bed enough towels.|When the room was upgraded, carpet underlay must have been ignored. The floor |was freezing, as were the drafty windows. Bathroom was not updated. If the|Sonesta spent money upgrading the rooms, why not the bathrooms? And I know this is picky, but the door knobs were all peeling and old.||We opened the pull out bed……not made up and no linens in the room. The mattress|cover had an enormous rust colored stain. Phoned front desk to complain about|bed not being made up. Guess he didn’t care I requested linens to sleep on top of the couch and was told to go to front desk and pick them up. I said absolutely not.|Linens were promptly delivered.||The pool was OK. Condensation from windows made puddles so it was slippery|walking. Pool towels were damp.|AND the hotel charged a $75 room security deposit on top of the room rate.||My suggestion, change management.

NillLocation is decent. Checked in around 11:30pm after traveling all day and the man at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending about a $75 incidental charge. I’ve never been charged so much. He went on to say to get used to it that it’s the new industry standard. Hilton will be getting my business always there rooms are at least clean and amazing customer service. Do not give this place your money. $75 for incidentals when the furniture in the room is extremely outdated, chipped and has stuff on it. Tub wouldn’t drain either and house keeping couldn’t be bothered to put trash bags in the trash.

NillI strongly urge you NOT to stay here. A couple months ago, my family and I stayed here for a wedding we were attending in the area. It was myself, my husband, and our 9 month old. We checked in, the front desk attendant was lovely (not sure of her name which was unfortunate because she was the only good thing about this place). Our bathroom was a little dirty, but again, we were mainly there to just sleep so the dirt on the floor was not a huge deal. However, the next week I checked my credit card statement and saw I had been charged an extra $150 on top of what our stay cost. I immediately called the hotel and was told it was because they found evidence we were smoking in the room. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. Not only do we not smoke in the first place, but I also had my nine month old with us. NEVER would we ever expose her to that. I was FURIOUS. I was told the manager would call me back to talk more about the charges. I never got a call back (also VERY unprofessional). My sister thankfully worked for the hotel chain and looked into this for me. The manager was extremely rude to her too (again, unprofessional). Turns out, the manager wasn't even THERE the day the room was cleaned. I guarantee someone else went in there after us and smoked and they assumed it was us. I will NEVER ever go back here and I urge you to think twice about booking here as well. Seems like I'm not the only unhappy patron of this hotel. Just a forewarning. Oh, and I was told that I was not charged the full amount for smoking in the room since it was found a few days later. THEN HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WAS US?? Ridiculous.

NillLeft my expensive necklace in a room during my stay. Called back to see if it was at the front desk or someplace safe and was told they didn’t have anything turned in as a form of a necklace. So someone clearly stole it cause I’m not slow or stupid. Ask for a call back from their very rude manager that stated I was lying and that I was banned and the police would be called if I came back for giving her a problem about my necklace. This place should be shut down or investigated cause someone is stealing guest things and no one is held accountable. 980.00 ish dollars gone down the drain for a night stay at a hotel that wasn’t worth it. Definitely won’t be back and if you go make sure you take pics before you leave if your items and where they were

NillThis could be a really good hotel but it’s not. Trust me on this one. The GM and Owner whole family lives at the hotel literally. They don’t wash their hands when they prepare the food. Bread bagels and muffins are always old and hard but management wants you to feed it to the guest. The GM and her husband constantly harass the guest and the visitors that they have. Never been at a hotel where you are told you can’t take food to the room. Honestly I would not stay here cause they don’t get much service so to make money they lie and say something happened to a room so they can charge the guest for their lies on top of it anything in lost and found is just thrown away cause there is no lost and found. There are so many other great hotels in the area let Sonesta be your last choice unless other hotels won’t take a debit card cause they will, they still take cash for rooms and deposits but trust me this would be my last option for a place to stay tvs get no channels, WiFi sucks and the smell of sewage in the rooms and lobby

NillWas told as we were checking in the pool was closed. It was one of the main reasons we booked there. So we asked to cancel the reservation and be refunded. After a long phone conversation and some argument we finally got the room cancelled and refunded but it was quite a hassle.
