The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club

We will for sure be back. We stayed in a governors level room with an air tub, the tub was incredible and worth the price of the room. My only note would be that the TVs could be a little more modern, they work fine but having a smart TV would have elevated the experience. That said, the room was clean and well furnished. For us, the upgrade to the governors club was worth it. Our bar tender was very nice and helpful with recommendations for the area and directions, and he poured a great drink. The snack hour was easily sufficient to be a light dinner before our event as well. Next time I’m in town for work I’ll definitely plan to stay here for those amenities alone. As an overnight stay, it was a great experience and between the bar and snack hour it really made for an indulgent experience at a very fair price. I would recommend this hotel both for work and for leisure, it’s walking distance to the overture theater, so doing a night at the club level could also make for a great “stay-cation” for locals. Thank you to all of the staff, your hospitality was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay, I am looking forward to returning for another visit soon!

Love this hotel! Such high quality service and comfortable rooms! The beds were actually extremely comfortable and not too hard. As a mom who never gets a night away, I slept AMAZING! The catered food was actually good too (usually I don't expect too much with hotel food, but it was great!) The evening concierges were SOOO friendly and helpful (2/21/25). I love the local touch to the aesthetic & atmosphere of Wisconsin. The views are great! This is definitely the best place to stay for visiting downtown Madison/ the capitol! Also all the staff was friendly!

A perfect blend of comfort and fun, with a touch of elegance that makes your stay feel special. As a mom of three, finding a place where I can relax while still having plenty of activities for the whole family is priceless, and this hotel delivered 🙌 The view of the Capitol from our room was decent. Such a treat to wake up to! The hotel amenities were the real stars, though. The pool, gym, sauna, and hot tub made it feel like a mini getaway all on their own. My kids couldn’t get enough of the ping pong table, and honestly, neither could I it brought back such fun, carefree memories. 🏓 The only downside was the parking garage. The ceiling is really low, and the spaces are packed pretty tightly. If you’re driving a big truck or SUV, it can feel a bit like a game of Tetris trying to maneuver. It was manageable, but it’s something to keep in mind . Overall, the hotel offers an amazing experience—whether you’re relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying that Capitol view, you’ll feel pampered and at ease. Just be ready for a little patience with the parking! 😅

My wife and I have stayed several times at the Concourse. It is quite a pleasant experience! The rooms are very comfortable, the amenities are wonderful, this last stay our room led right to the pool! Fun! The Bar offers a very nice dinner as well as the Circ for breakfast! We combine our stay with attending shows at the Overture center, a two minute walk. It is also very convenient to the downtown area!

We visit our family twice a year in Madison, Wisconsin. After we discovered the Madison Concourse, it has become a real highlight to our visits. ||The rooms are tastefully decorated and have breathtaking views of the state capital or Lake Mendota. |The beds are incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms are beautiful and spotless. ||The pool area is clean and inviting. The lobby is beautiful. The parking garage is on site and very efficient. It’s connected to the elevators that take you right to your floor. The parking rate is very reasonably priced. ||The employees are very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable.||It’s rare that you can find a hotel that isn’t part of of a large chain. I can’t say enough about how much I like the Madison Concourse.

Was there for the NYE Celebration, the hotel was sold out..!! All services were hitting on all cylinders. We were in the Ballroom, The Govenors Club, the firsdt Floor Bar and in and out of our room and all the elevators all night and the huge breakfast brounch for patrons the next day The entertainment was superb, the food was excellent and the sevice was bar none, the best in Madison. The organization, attention to detail and manpower it took to host the largest event The Concourse has every year was fully on display and flawless..!! We'll be back...

My wife and I spent our 5 year anniversary in their king suite with the couples package. It was phenomenal from the time we walked in until we walked back to our car to leave. The governor's club is a must when attending this hotel and definitely worth the extra bit of money it costs to access it. The service was top notch, phenomenal! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a high-end place to stay.

A fantastic hotel experience. Excellent decor, clean and modern with an upscale feel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The mattress and shower are so much better than most hotels. We were there for a special event and the food was amazing and the service was fantastic.
