NillWe recently hosted a private event for doctors at the Chamberlin Inn, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we started planning, Stacey, Amie, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. They arranged a fantastic caterer, provided impeccable wine service, and added personal touches like beautiful floral centerpieces and delicious chocolates that made our guests feel truly special. Their white glove service was evident in every aspect, making the evening one to remember for all who attended. If you’re looking for a charming, elegant venue in Cody, WY, the Chamberlin Inn is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!

★★★★★I really did not want to leave the relaxing atmosphere. The library, studies and seatings in the garden are perfect for quiet time. We enjoyed the musicians and bartender can mix an excellent cocktail, Old Fashion my favorite. Our room on the second floor was tastefully decorated and furniture comfortable. Nights were very quiet. We bought picnic supplies at Sitti’s Table gourmet shop in the afternoon placed them in our room refrigerator overnight. Small refrigerator freezer fit all 4 refreeze-able blocks. The rooms were impeccably clean. Location is walking distance to downtown attractions. Morning coffee delicious. Every service staff we saw had a smile and could not have been more attentive. Thank you Stacy for being a wonderful hostess. Do check out the many historical photos throughout.

NillWe were there this past week Thursday to Thursday. When we arrived on Thursday the young lady was very sweet and helpful. They were having a wedding in the bar and conservatory. We couldn’t walk through the building and had to walk all the way around the complex to our garden room. The room was cute and clean. The first night at the bar Aimee was so sweet and fun. She brought us drinks which were great. Saturday they had another wedding. We weren’t able to use the bar service that evening due to the wedding. We had to walk the parameter of the complex again to get to our garden room. We couldn’t sit on our patio as well due to the wedding that evening. There was loud music and people out until 9pm. We were basically stuck in our room until after 9 pm. There kids running outside our room and patio screaming. We had selected this garden room for a quiet and peaceful vacation with our little patio to sit at. I would suggest to inform guests when the garden rooms are booked to give a choice to switch rooms if there is an event. Also open a different area for guests to purchase and have drinks. That’s another reason we picked Chamberlin. We would’ve switched rooms if we had known. Or possibly offer a complimentary bottle of wine? Two mornings the continental breakfast they ran out of coffee so we had to walk to a local coffee shop. When we asked for more coffee both times the staff acted like we were bothering them. Our last day there we were gone all day until the evening. We put the sign for cleaning our room. We got back and our room was not cleaned. It was late at night and we had no more toilet paper. Luckily I had bought Kleenex’s so we had to use those as the staff were gone by this time. Aimee was great, helpful and attentive to all. The girl who checked us in (can’t remember her name) was very helpful and kept apologizing that we had to walk all the way around the complex because of the wedding. Some of the other staff seemed not too eager to assist. Overall I gave a 4 because of no communication about the events and we didn’t have access to the amenities we paid for (bar, food, and courtyard), staff and running out of coffee with no more made. The Chamberlin inn is a cute place, clean, and in a good location. Suggestion to inform about events coming up with prior notice and inability to access the bar, etc…..

NillI wish we would have stayed here. A quaint, historic bed & breakfast type feeling. The courtyard was a great place to have an old fashioned, enjoy nature and see live entertainment a couple nights a week. The hotel had that historic charm, I just love! It looked very clean and well kept. It's going to be on my list for where to stay next time. Just off the main street, but right in the middle for easy walking everywhere.

★★★★★We had a family Reunion this weekend. It was fabulous - from arranging accommodations with Stacey in September to arrival and departure, we were treated with the most delightful experience. The Chamberlin has been exquisitely restored and provides guests with amazing amenities from tastefully decorated rooms, a beautiful atrium and lounge, garden patio, to mention only a few. We hated to leave and can't wait to return!

★★★This is a beautifully renovated inn in the middle of Cody, walking distance to lots of places to eat and touristy things. We stayed on Halloween night and the main street was closed for trick or treat so lots of kids and families were out with their kids. We felt very safe in walking to a local pizza place for dinner.||Knowing this is a renovated old inn, I want to be fair in my comments. Our room was clean but small, nice bathroom with old fashioned soaking tub was nice but no where to put toiletries and makeup on the small sink. Same with the tub since it had a hanging cloth shower curtain that surrounded the tub if you wanted to take a shower. The bed was comfortable, sheets were nice quality. However, what we didn’t know was that it was the first time the heat for the hotel had been turned on for the season. Since it is an older inn, it still uses the pipes that run up the walls in the rooms heating the room radiator that you have no control over. Every hour or 90 minutes, it would start up with clanging and banging so loud we thought someone was outside with a heavy wrench banging on the pipes, the loud banging lasting for 20-30 minutes. This went on all night long, every hour or so, so loud you jump out of your bed. That is no exaggeration. I talked to the girl working the front desk and the bar. They offered us another room upstairs to sleep and we did appreciate that; however, that room was very hot with no way to turn off the heater.||The continental breakfast was sparse in our opinion with English muffins, assorted muffins, yogurt and fruit. The coffee from a local shop was very good. The breakfast area is more like a bed and breakfast set up, just not for us. ||We would not stay at this inn again and would not recommend to friends or family.

Lots of thought and detail went in to maintaining the elegance and history but also updated in such a way that just adds to the charm. The staff is also 5 stars and gives such great recommendations !
