NillStay here if you come to Cody! We stayed here after a few days in the Tetons and Yellowstone. Fran the owner is the sweetest lady! She made us feel so at home. Excellent customer service. The cockatiel, Peekaboo, is too cool. She's so friendly. Fran upgraded us to a room with a kitchen which came in handy for our family of 5! We stayed 2 nights. On the morning that we left we sat out in front and watched a deer with her 2 babies across the street. The whole area is nice. Cody is a fantastic town. We were really sad to leave. Hope to go back there one day. :)

NillBest hotel in the area! The room was clean and comfortable with many homey touches. Fran and Peek-a-boo gave us a much-needed warm welcome after a long day of travel. Would return!

NillThis motel is the cutest, cleanest motel in Cody. Not expensive (which is amazing for Cody) and the owners are very nice. Could get a reservation easily and didn't have to book a year in advance. I would recommend this motel over all in Cody and will definitely be staying there when we come back!

NillOur Expedia booking got lost..they were not expecting us..thank goodness we were in touch prior to arrival date...we recd. EXCEPTIONAL customer service- bent over backwards-made sure a room was available-& Our request for early arrival was ready- in extreme heat wave-friendly down to earth couple. The motel has a homey welcoming look-- chairs outside & flowers hanging everywhere..We were upstairs... large shared balcony area overlooking the mts. Quiet & got a great night sleep. Our room was fresh, clean & spacious..only slight downfall - lacking electrical plugs for electronics...but we got around it.... Recommend staying here when in Cody...thanks for a great memory😘

★★★Fran and her husband are the owners of this motel. We spoke to Fran directly over the phone to make our reservations. Fran was super friendly and very accommodating. Upon arrival we were met by Fran's husband who welcomed us and gave us some tips while in the area. Fran arrived and got us checked in. She suggested some places for dinner but we were able to locate a restaurant (Irma's) we liked on our own.||Our room was clean, neat and comfy but rather small and dated for the price. The motel has a great location right on the edge of town so we were able to get up in the morning and continue our trip eastward towards Devil's Tower.

★★★★★We stayed 2 nights on our way to Yellowstone. Although the property is older you could tell it has been very well maintained. Our room was very clean and comfortable||The owner was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. We ate breakfast twice at Granny's and had dinner at Irma's (reviews posted for both of those restaurants). Peek A Boo was also very friendly. She really liked my husband's shoulder. Although the rooms were a bit pricey I'm sure that was because we were staying in Cody. All in all we were very pleased with our stay.

NillSweet privately owned motel. We booked with only a month to spare and couldn't find campgrounds code to Yellowstone. The owner was kind enough to let us park with our two campers in the lot during our stay. There is enough parking but not a lot extra so this was very accommodating and kind. There is a laundry but be prepared for certain times of use as it's the laundry room the motel uses for their cleaning needs. Again super accommodating if you just ask. My parents had stayed here 6 years before and remembered the bird in the lobby. When we were searching for a motel I was thankful someone had posted pictures as I was able to find it. It is a far drive from Yellowstone to Cody but if Cody is your resting place I recommend Carter Mountain Motel. Older facility but extremely clean and super owners! There's also a deck on the second floor that's perfect for a relaxing morning or evening. We did see deer in the neighboring yards each day during our stay.

NillOur room had no window. The bathroom was small and could use updating. The bathtub could use a cleaning and the shower curtain was too short. There was a window above the bathtub so I could say hello to the people outside while showering. 🙄 Overall, the staff was nice, the room was fairly clean, and the bed was comfortable, but the lacking items caused us to rate as we did. We will likely not stay here again.
