I was looking at this place to stay for up coming trip BUT HELL NO. I can not stand when big or small hotels make up BS charges!!!! There is no need for it today!!! I was going to get a room for 2 nights for this years Apple Fest. I am handy cap and do not travel well so place close by be nice. I started to book room then saw the price all most go up by 1/2!!! BS fees like $ 75 to clean room. To all my knowledge all hotels do this anyway!!! Why you have to charge extra for it!!! Don't others add it to price of room already!!! Then they was going to charge a Limited Damage Waiver of $30.00. I guess they think every one breaks stuff in rooms!!! Now normal ware and tare aside add it to room price up front!!!! NOT on back end after selling us a room!!! + I do not know it we get that back if not break anything????? Then charging us a $34.47 booking fee.!!!!@##@#@$ For what it's all computers to day no one dose anything be get free money $$$$ Like I say this looks like a very nice place to stay but to me it is shady to do this!!! Again just put it into up front price $$$ I be more out to pay if amenities are worth it!!!

I stayed at Cedaredge Lodge last weekend partially based on the phenomenal reviews here, but based on my experience, I felt that they needed an update. The previous owner dropped by while we were there, so I believe that ownership may have turned over and standards slipped. TL;DR: A lot of potential here, but upkeep has slipped, Vacasa makes booking and check-in unpleasant, and the price with fees is ~2x what feels reasonable. The good: The property is really cool! They yard is full of lounge areas and games and everything described on the website. The bad: Cedaredge Lodge seems to have once been a mom-and-pop-style B&B, but they have outsourced management to Vacasa, whose faceless, corporate customer service stains the experience from the beginning. Why is this a problem? * Vacasa manages keyless locks and automatically sends codes to arriving guests. Unfortunately, this technology doesn't work and both we and the other guests that night needed to see on hold with Vacasa to figure out how to get into the room. * Vacasa does not allow reservation changes with <30 day notice. This is so far outside the norms of the hospitality industry that it deserves mention. * Vacasa in cahoots with the Cedaredge Lodge charges a hidden $100+ cleaning charge. This bumps the room to $250/night for a weekend if one brings a dog. Beyond the Vacasa issues, I felt like this property didn't meet my expectations for a cute B&B-style place. There was no staff on-site, so the entire experience felt sterile, we walked in to a bunch of dead bugs on the beds, the coffee pot electrical cord was too short to reach any plug outside the bathroom, and the grounds need some TLC. I really wanted to love this place (and do love staying in and have no problem paying for little family-run B&Bs), but unless I saw obvious changes, I would stay in a motel for half the price.

Wowza! This property has it all!! Our family stayed in the Crown Jewel. The kids enjoyed the game room with real arcade games, pool, air hockey and even skeet ball. The adults enjoyed the hot tub after hours. We were able to invite other family up and enjoyed the huge gathering area where we played games and had a pot luck. We were all amazed at the size of the property! We needed more towels and the property manager responded almost right away. Last day, we went on the Mesa and rented paddle boards. Bottom line, we are already planning another trip!! Thank you 🙏😊

We had to book this at the last minute because our fifth wheel trailer needed to have the pull out repaired so we couldn’t take it. We went up with our friend and his two daughters who booked a bed-and-breakfast in Cedaredge off Timothy Road and we were going to park our fifth wheel there. The room (The Nest Cabin #9) was exactly as described, & very cute. It had two mini refrigerators for plenty of room for your things out of your cooler. The sink was very big, with a microwave & stove and oven. The king size bed was very comfortable with plenty of soft pillows & with a large closet. It had a trundle bed next to it with the TV in the room. There was also a seating area with a small couch & chairs with a table in the living room with a big screen TV. It was very soothing to listen to the creek with your windows open at night. It had a large, seating area with the creek flowing underneath your feet. The cute little treehouse was fun to look at the stars in the sky of the Milky Way. The game room was fun too. We played pool & a couple other games. The community room with the kitchen & the large seating area was very nice. It was nice to find supplies there if you needed them. The site manager Jeanne answered our texts right away when we needed help with finding a place to park a large truck with the trailer. She was very sweet & helpful and we met her in person the last day. She was a joy to talk to very helpful, sweet and kind. We would definitely stay here again. It’s close to Cedaredge.

I stayed here for a girls weekend in March for the full moon ski tour up on the Mesa! The accommodations are clean, cute and very comfortable. The game room is a blast and everyone that works there is super nice. The town has everything you need, a wine bar, an art gallery or two or three, a really cool music store, and the most friendly down to earth people. This really is the gateway to the Mesa.

Really enjoy our visits. We’ve stayed a couple times. It has a charming rustic vibe. The location is perfect if you’re looking to get close to nature on the Mesa but still want the amenities of a town. The outdoor kitchen is perfect for families or larger groups. Oh. The game room! I’m a kid of the 70s-80s. If skiball is in the room, watch out!! Pinball. Air hockey. Definitely a highlight!!

The Cedaredge Lodge is located so perfectly right at the base of Grand Mesa and on the north side of the sweet little downtown of Cedaredge. It is a lovely home base for skiing, hiking, and biking on the Mesa with the amenities of a full, on-site kitchen and relaxing hot tub for before and after any Grand Mesa adventures. The owner is super responsive and is a delight to work with. All the rooms are custom and charming greatly adding to the quiet, getaway feel of the lodge.

Our family recently gathered in the Cedaredge vicinity and had the good fortune of enjoying accommodations at The Cedaredge Lodge. Staff were quite helpful and flexible in providing multiple rooms as well as kitchen facilities for a large meal. Children enjoyed the game room and the treehouse immensely. Family commented as to how lovely the creek setting was and that they would return in the future. Check in was an easy process and the kitchens were well equipped and clean. I would highly recommend The Cedaredge Lodge to families looking for a lovely venue for a comfortable gathering spot. Well done Cedaredge Lodge team.
