Emerald Mountain Lodge

We enjoyed our stay here. Clean rooms and quiet and felt safe. We come a few times every year to watch the Rutting and shop. This is a great area to stay.

its in YMCA OF THE ROCKIES- great place to bring little kids because theres lots of cool activities like minigolf,pool,archery,rollerrink. most of these are included in price, you just have to reserve day before. a few of them cost extra. the place kinda has churchcamp vibe. no bar or ac but the tapwater is good and i think you can get around ok without a car because theres a bus to estes town (very tourist town) and the nearby famous scenic parks.

It was a comfortable enough bed but know that you don't get any extras in the rooms...no TV, no coffee maker, no tea bags, no microwave etc. They have ONE soap dispenser in the bath tub that's supposed to serve bathing and hair washing needs so be sure to bring your own toiletries. Location is pretty nice though!

YMCA of the Rockies located in the rocky mountains 9k elevation. Great location. The rooms were a nice size comfortable beds . With excellent service Staff very friendly and helpful. Had to get used to elevation and had to drink lots of water not to get dehydrated

On a retreat with 60+ women and the facility was wonderful. The cafeteria selection was diverse and delicious! Fabulous!

Bathroom floor had debris. No soap in the dispensers. Room was hot. Tried to set thermostat down, but not. Tried to get coffee at 10:30 at the Rustic Cafe. Person was on a lunch break. Sent me to the Aspen Dining Room which was closed. Happy Mother's Day!

The location was very beautiful. It had many amenities such as a mini golf course. Pool. Gym area. As well as other things. The buildings were wooden but well taken care of. This location was on the YMCA of the Rockies. There was security on grounds and our rooms were cleaned while we were gone.

The rooms were very nice and very clean. Our conference room was very nice, also. However. The breakfast was tolerable. The lunch and dinner menu were ok, but the food was terrible. No flavoring on the entire offerings. The vegetable soup hardly had any vegetables it. The salad bar was ok. The scramble eggs were ok. My friends watched how eager people were when the came onto the cafeteria and how disappointed they looked when they hot their food. You really need to get your acts together on the food you offer and get someone who knows how to cook. I also noticed the menu offering better options on became better beginning on Friday. Aren't we paying the same for food? Please try and rectify your food and you will have an awesome facility.
