Motel 6 Tampa, FL

Disgusting place. Two brothers at the front desk tried belittling my concern. The night I slept there the sheets felt dirty and had a slight smell to them. I didnt want to complain because its a Motel 6, not Hilton. You get what you pay for. But that morning as I was cleaning the room to get it ready for house keeping, under the sheets reveal these huge pee stains. That explains the smell. As I mentioned the brothers did not seem to think it was a big deal, they offered 15% off, I wanted 50%. Just 15 more dollars more and I would have felt decently better but they refused no matter how much we went back and forth. Worst Motel 6 Ive ever stayed, and worst motel in general.

Considering we grabbed one of the cheapest motel options, last minute for a huge concert in town, we are very happy with our stay. The room was nice, cool, and fairly clean. The shower wasn’t the prettiest, but worked just fine for the two nights we needed it. The staff were very nice and friendly! While the location being on MLK Jr. blvd and off a main highway meant a bit more chaos, we were still within 10 minutes of everything we wanted to do. If all you are looking for is a place to shower, sleep, wake up and spend the whole day on the town, this place is great!! Only thing I will say is I wouldn’t be comfortable staying here with children who like to play.

My stay was very comfortable and my room was clean. The only thing I really do not like is the loud noises early morning by my door. Nick is a very helpful employee as well he is very kind and will make sure u are comfortable and u are satisfied. Thanks nick for understanding and problem solving!

No matter how you book and pay, expect to pay an additional $60 deposit. Pay cash. Otherwise, you will not see your money back. Called after a month, and they told me that due to the dog chewing up the door frame, I would not receive the deposit back. One big problem with that... I'm a disabled elderly woman with NO DOG! I walk slowly and carefully with a cane. You can have the fridge or the microwave plugged in, not both at the same time. There looked to be people who lived there due to work. Lots of lineman type trucks in the mornings. It was quiet enough to sleep. It was relatively clean, although it had been awhile since overhead bathroom light fixtures had been cleaned out (dead roaches). The hot and cold water faucets were reversed in both the tub and sink. Tub was very hard to turn on for an old person. ***Update - 3rd day of calling after this review. Was told they are busy and hung up on me. Will be filing a notice with credit card company for fraudulent charges now.

Well, at arriving after paying for the reservation rooms, find out that you need $60 deposit. After paying for the deposit and entering the rooms, the bath top is not 100% clean. When to get ice, the ice machine doesn't work out of order. According to management, the ice, which is completely not mandatory. The place outside is very dirty and is very noisy trout the night. My wife needed to clean the microwave before using it, which was very filthy. If you are a trailer, trash people, you will feel right at home, if not go to another motel 6 ,or another motel.

Just don’t!!!! I had little friends come and visit me during my stay video and pics of them in my bed on the pillow I slept on and the manager said “well we checked you in earlier without a fee” only time ever charged a fee has been at a resort. Don’t blame me for your staff’s negligence. Don’t stay here. I killed 3. Seen 7 roaches. Booked through Hotels .com which have a very different review. Not my first motel. But this was disgustingly all around

The hotel is very nice for the price. The staff, especially Ria at the front desk is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and the pool is nice as well. I will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

I stayed in room 142 my microwave was filthy, I was not able to reheat my food. The shower curtain had mold on it, so I could not even shower. The sink had gunked up toothpaste from probably forever ago. I saw the housekeepers outside and politely asked them to clean those things. The guy kept repeating to me that "all rooms are clean" and I kept telling him that my room WAS NOT. After going back in forth he still proceeded to tell me that "all rooms are clean" so I told him mine was not and walked off. It was clear he had no intention on cleaning my room so that is why I am writing this review. If he had just did as I politely asked I would not be writing this review. Also beware of the small roaches you don't want to take any back home with you.
