Our favorite bar in northern Wisconsin. Been coming here for 20 years. Cozy bar with a fireplace that’s as rustic as you can fine. The owners Mike and Mary are some of the nicest people in the area. Great drinks at great prices. A must-visit stop when out on the trails.

Year after year, Woodhaven Resort is a magical vacation get-away, a perfect place to spend time with family and create new memories. Clean cabins and a quiet lake with great fishing, what more could you ask for?

Spent last week at this lovely resort. Cabins are all well maintained and clean. Furniture is comfortable including the beds. Excellent shower water pressure and temperature! Kitchens are well stocked with just about every utensil and pot you can think of. The bar is perfect! Mike and Mary are great hosts! I highly recommend Woodhaven for a relaxing vacation.

We moved to the area 3 years ago and a friend said we needed to check out this bar. Unfortunately, with COVID and everything else we never seemed to hit it when they were open. Finally, we did! What a cute place. So homey and up north. Mike and Mary are very friendly and we enjoyed our time there. Seating at bar about 10, couch, and a high top. I know there is a back room but I did not check it out. I will add to my review next time we go. Currently they are only open Fri-Sun after 6pm.

Stopped here in Feb 12th 2016 during a day snowmobiling and grabbed a beverage and chance to warm up. This is a small no frills cabin bar with an open fireplace that does the trick. They have restrooms and seating to hold about 15 people.....after that it gets pretty tight in there as its small. The lady working was very nice and handed out free pudding shots to everyone in the bar. |Definitely had the Northwoods backcountry vibe going in here. Good stop along the trails in winter to get warmed up!

We just got back from our stay at Woodhaven. What a great place! The lake is right out your front door no matter which cabin you are renting. The water in the lake is clean, clear and crisp. We had kids with us and they loved the sandy beach and the well maintained swimming area (no weeds or muck)! The kids spent hours swimming by the beach and at the swimming dock and playing around with the paddle boats. Fishing was also a dream for the kids. Just drop a line in the water and catch a bluegill sometimes within seconds. The owners are really nice and there’s a sweet old dog that hangs out around the beach. Each cabin has it’s own picnic table, grill and fire pit and there are lots of lawn chairs to use outside and at the beach. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, listening to the loons and checking out the beautiful sunsets and all the night stars. The cabins are basic and rustic, but very clean and all the appliances work, and my bed was comfortable. For the affordable price point, it exceeded our expectations. A bit of advice for other travelers: plan on bringing everything you need for cooking and housekeeping, including hand and dish soap, washcloths, etc. . It’s not like an airbnb or a condo with a fridge and cupboard full of community condiments or basic spices, etc. or leftover cleaning supplies and toiletries. We want to come back to Woodhaven in the future!

While I've never stayed at Woodhaven, many family and friends have, and always have great times and many memories. Mike and Mary are fantastic people and work hard for their customers.

One of the last of its kind in the hayward area. The cabins are rustic but well maintained. There's a small but delightful swimming beach. We've been going to Woodhaven for a decade, and are always sad to say goodbye to Mary and Mike.
