Excellent Stay Near the Ghat! I had a wonderful experience staying at this guest house. The location is perfect — just a few minutes’ walk to the ghat, which made it very convenient for morning Aarti and boat rides. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The staff was polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The peaceful atmosphere and close proximity to the river made my stay truly memorable. I had a wonderful stay at this paying guest house! The location is absolutely perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the riverside, which made for peaceful morning strolls and relaxing evenings. Very near to Dashashwamed ghat. Rooms are clean. The owner approach is also good and they guide me in finding places in varanasi. The room rent also is reasonable. You can find the room easily using google maps. The path to the stay is narrow only a bike can pass. The only con which I can say is the ventilation of the room and toilet is not much. But it's not a big issue.

Perfect Stay Near the Ghats of Varanasi I had an amazing stay at this guest house, located just a short walk from the main ghats of Varanasi. The location is ideal for exploring the spiritual and cultural heart of the city. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, and the owner was very welcoming. I recently stayed at these Lotus Paying Guest house which is really awesome guest house. With a Walking Distance to Dashashwamedh Ghatof 2-3mins & 10mins from Godolia Chauraha Cleanliness is top notch Rooms and bathrooms are spotless, fresh, and well-maintained Host: The host is extremely friendly, helpful, and always available when needed He also allowed me late check in at 3am that was so great I was in confusion that should i visit Ayodhya or not because of rising water levels but after confirming with him there is no risk i was able to visit one more place Will recommend these place for Sure

We stayed at this property just a week ago, and I must say, choosing it based on MMT reviews turned out to be the best decision! Location:The hotel is located just a 2-minute walk from Dashashwamedh Ghat and about 4 minutes from the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Godowlia Chauraha. The main marketplace is also very close by(1 mint walking distance), making it extremely convenient for both sightseeing and shopping. Cleanliness:The rooms and bathrooms were very clean—felt like they had been recently renovated. Cleanliness was clearly a priority here, and it really made our stay more comfortable. Staff & Service:The staff were extremely polite and helpful. I had called the hotel a day before our visit, and the person I spoke with guided me very well. During our stay, they even helped my parents get special seating for the Ganga Aarti in the evening, which was a thoughtful gesture—especially since most of the ghats were submerged due to flood at that time. They also arranged lunch for us, which was a big help. You’ll find packaged drinking water (paid) available at the reception. Budget-Friendly Comfort:If you’re looking for an AC, budget-friendly hotel near the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Dashashwamedh Ghat, and the market area, this is honestly a great choice. Especially during peak season, it’s hard to find such well-maintained accommodation at this price point. Extra Tip:The hotel is located in the lanes of Bengali Tola, just a minute’s walk from Dashashwamedh Market. The lanes are lined with interesting souvenir shops—I really enjoyed exploring them! Getting There:From Varanasi Junction, take an auto-rickshaw and ask the driver to drop you at Godowlia Chauraha / Jagambadi Math / Girja Ghar. From there, it’s a 6–8 minute walk to the hotel. Use Google Maps to navigate through the narrow lanes easily.
