Shiva Inn Varanasi

Great location, only 5 minutes walk to the Ganges, right in the middle of the most famous Ghats. This place is ideal if you want to live in the old town, right in the middle of all the noise and chaos. The pickup from the airport was seamless. In Varanasi, cars are not allowed into the centre so someone will guide you to the guest house on foot. This is essential as there's no way you'd find it in the alleyways of the old town. Once you've located it, and have worked out how to get down to the river, it's pretty easy to find it again retracing your route. I found Shiva Inn very safe and secure and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Shiva Inn!!

Been to Varanasi 4 times so I’ve stayed in a few different places and this guest house is my favorite for a variety of reasons. The manager Yogesh is very friendly - always a smile on his face - believes in hospitality, enjoys being of service to people, and he takes great pride in running a quality guest house. It is centrally located, the room rentals are very reasonable, rooms very clean, AC is great, and the building is very safe. The only down part is the rooms appear to book up quickly but that’s just another testament to its quality. Thank you Yogesh for an amazing experience. And thank you Aman for recommending this guest house to us!

The location is superb...just about 50 feet from Gate no 2 of Shri Kashi Vishwanath mandir. Fairly priced, spartan setting. it is in a very congested area like all surrounding areas of the temple. No lift (but there is no lift in any building in the vicinity). Some roome give a view of Kashi Vishwanath temple (main Shikhar + adjoining shikhar) so you can have darshan anytime. In fact I could visist the temple twice a day day avoiding peak rush.Yogesh ji and his team (Krishna & others) make it really comfortable and easy to stay as he makes things happen for you - including transport, boarting, arranging a pundit, transport and also food in hotel. ||Very good for pilgrims. Pleasure tourists should avoid this

This is an excellent location for those who plan to visit Varanasi. Shiva Inn is a heritage building that located very close to Kaasi Visvanaath Temple and the Main Ghat. The rooms are well maintained as in cleanliness, security and services. The family rooms are spacious and equipped with WiFi, hot shower, air-conditioning and also ceiling fans. Its a four story building and will give you kind of peacefulness to mind and soul. From the roof of Shiva Inn guests able to see Kaasi Visvanaath Temple Gopuram. Apart from that the bell sound and chanting of mantras can be heard softly whenever there are poojas especially early in the morning. Those guests planning for pilgrimage or spiritual journey to feel the vibration of Lord ||Shiva, should try this place without any hesitation.||Best part is the friendliest, trustable and helpful persons. Hats off to Yogesh and Krishna, two most important people who made our days very colorful during our stay at Varanasi. Both of them assisted us veey well in everything and they able arranged things according to our needs. They guided us in prayers, shopping and also played role as guide without any expectation from us. They spend most of the time with us sharing their experiences and walk along with us with smiling face. Very humble and polite persons.

Our stay at shiva inn was great, made even more comfortable by the hospitality of our main man Yogi. His pleasant, humorous and helpful attitude made us feel incredibly welcome. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone who wants to experience the hustle and bustle of old varinassi, although you wouldnt know it from the rooms themselves as they were well soundproofed! Once again, Yogi is the man!

Amazing place to say. Amazing owner. In Heart of Varanasi. Airport pickup and drop service excellent 👍🏾. We needed a boat ride, the establishment got it booked for us. We needed transport arrangements to visit prayagraj the establishment again got it sorted out for us. Extremely close to lord Vishwanath temple. Extremely friendly owner. Rooms are great. Good bathrooms. I strongly recommend all my friends and family to stay in this place.

Was in Varanasi 23-24 March. The hotel is very nice. Room is clean and big, hot water, safety is very well, especially for women. I think is very important. Yogi- is manager of hotel - very friendly and helpful. Help to us, he searched boat for evening ceremony in Ganga, taxi for airport and make for us very tasty tea)))price is good also) will recommend this hotel for all my friends who will go to Varanasi

The location is very close to Kashi Viswanath temple. As you come out of the door of Shiva inn, gate 2 of the temple is less than 50 meters or so on the right. The temple of Mother Vishalakshi is a 3 min walk from Shiva Inn on the left. It is very close to all major temples. A special mention must be given to the impeccable service and hospitality of Mr. Yogesh and his colleague Mr.Krishna. They are some of the best hosts you would get anywhere. They go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. Oh and do not forget to take a boat ride along the 84 ghats of Varanasi which can be arranged by Mr. Yogesh as well. I highly recommend this place for your process of spiritual recharge in the city of Lord Shiva.
