Baarbara Estate Camp

Barbara Estates is a beautiful place. Stayed there for two nights. Felt like home away from home. The place has an amazing vibe. The owners of the estate and staffs are curtious and polite. Food is healthy and fresh. Rooms are comfortable and cozy. The owners dont leave a stone unturned to make your stay an absolute delight. If you wish to stay and work in peace, Barbara estate completely disconnects you from the outside world. This is the place to be!

Lovely stay...nice place, well maintained... We were a family of 10, including Senior citizens & kids. Everyone enjoyed the place. Rooms are clean & well maintained. Overall excellent property, within the coffee estate. Nice open area for playing adjoining the Villa & a huge coffee estate for morning walks. Caretaker Lakshmi is very helpful & cooks good food. All in all a perfect getaway for a family / friends upto 15 people

Amazing place, friendly staff management takes interest in your well being and helps in making your stay as comfortable as possible. Food is amazing, specially non veg. Overall a secluded n quite place to chill

9 of us stayed there for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience. Though the rooms are small but very clean and well maintained including rest rooms. Food was awesome and also service. Thanks to Sree Raksha, the owner and staff. Both Lakshmi and Radha (staff) are very polite, caring and service oriented. Overall excellent stay and is good for families or friends.

Honest review. I had a night’s stay here with my wife. Paid something more than 7k for one night. The rooms were not clean, especially the washroom. The towel in the washroom looked all shabby. We did not expect a luxury homestay but expected the place to be at least neat. Breakfast was supposed to be free however whatever that was offered came at a sky rocketing expense. The cost of one lunch, snacks and dinner for 2 people was quoted at ₹1800. It’s homely, cannot call it delicious and definitely not worth ₹1800. We were asked to sit separately from everyone since we were non vegetarians. I did not understand this logic. We were offered the same food which the residents were having, only when the concern was raised with the management, the cooks there offered us different food. This was not a good experience. The only good thing about this place which we noticed was the serenity, the calmness of the locality.

Located on the top of a beautiful and widespread coffee plantation in Arisinaguppe,CKM.Scenic beauty all around,Misty mountain view,along with good wifi,food delivery services, spacious parking and play area for outdoor games available. Good for 8-10 people to have a great vacation.Highly recommend Jeep trips to cover all tourist places from here.

Very Good place, A silent place inside the jungle. Loved the stay. Food was delicious and everyone was there were so friendly. The road is not good, but that will also give you sense of adventure itself.

We stayed at Baarbara home stay last month during our trip to Chikmagalur. The place is secluded with no disturbance away from the city and all the traffic. It’s a nice and cozy little home stay with very hospitable staff. The food was amazing and the staff were very kind and asked us for our preferred food for the next day. The bonfire during the evenings was very good and allowed us to socialise with others staying in the home stay. The home stay is good and I would definitely recommend the place, however, the price is a little high for a size of the rooms provided and I’d have preferred if the food was also included with the price. But I guess it’s not a deal breaker anyway.
