We booked the glasshouse and treehouse. The service is good. Breakfast was modest but fresh and tasty. It’s located near Kumarakom bird sanctuary. The road leading to the property is narrow. There’s enough parking space . The surrounding garden needs maintenance. The rooms are average. They are small hand had a bad smell.

We 5 stayed in the 2 bedroom villa. It was very old, compared to the other stays in the property. The living room & bedroom were decent. But the Bathrooms weren't neat. The main concerning factor : there are access doors to the living room from the outside kitchen & outside bathroom, which should be sealed or closed permanently or atleast there should be a lock from the living room side. The caretaker comes into the living room unannounced. This concerns privacy and security of our luggages and valuables. Pros: 1.Location - One of the best locations you will find in Kumarakom. 2.Property common areas 3.Drinking water provided inside and outside the room free of cost 4.Automatic lights in the parking areas. 5.Friendly Host. Cons: (just for the 2bhk villa) 1.Very old 2.Bathrooms weren't clean. We could find toothbrushes of previous guests 3.Rooms need to be properly cleaned after each guest checks out. We found hair clips, dirty combs in the racks. 4.Lack of privacy & security due to the door access from the kitchen and bathroom. 5.Breakfast could have a few more variety and a seperate dinning facility for the price of 3.6k per room..!! Other than the 2bhk villa I guess this is a fantastic property to stay and enjoy Kumarakom !!

This is a clean, pet friendly, spacious, not overly expensive stay (Rs 3000 a night), away from the hustle and bustle, has a nicely made garden and sit out, well lit and ventilated room, overlooking the canal / river, of off the Vembanad lake. I was on the ground floor room, with a little sit out porch and spacious attached bath. Carparking facility and fully fenced property, so my dog was happy! It was lovely interacting with Garggi for my booking, Sheeja the caretaker was great and it was nice meeting Garggi's dad. Areas of improvement: 1) The black duvet wasn't clean, smelly, and perhaps not laundered after the previous guest. So made do with some extra sheets I asked for. 2) The washbasin had dirty water coming out of the pipe below so it was challenging to use it. Though they promtly fixed it the next day. 3) The hot water geyser is a very small capacity so hot water will become cold after 1 minute. 4) The homely, simple, average lunch meal was overpriced at Rs 550.

Rooms are big and clean place. Service is good. Homely atmosphere. We stayed in Tree house too and it was a new experience.

Very good and clean place with great service. Beautiful garden and overall property. Food was fresh and very tasty. Rooms are big and well equipped. Also they are pets friendly that helped us a lot in our travel plans. Highly recommended!

I was bit doubtful when I booked it. But we had a great time. Homely yet professional. Sheeja cooks good food. Rajesh, the owner is a great guy, who even helped us to get our car ac repaired. Nice place. Helpful people.
