I stayed there in the last week with my friends.The owner is very friendly and the rooms are very neat and the rate is pocket friendly.Location and ambiance are ideal and the food served was really tasty and one can engage in angling also.Overall it was a nice stay .

We stayed there for 2 days of a December 1 weekend and I am totally dissatisfied with the behaviour of the home stay host. Also I have seen 2 snakes and allot of lizards . If you are a nature lover you could opt it.other wise opt it out . 0 marks for the hospitality. Vehicle parking also is a mess .

Highly inaccurate listing on Airbnb. No wifi, no heater, fireplace, private kitchen. The linen and blankets were torn and dirty. This is place hosted by family which is nice and polite but unfortunately it doesn't match the price charged at all. We asked them for food which was ALWAYS served cold and returned, but the shameless host never heated it up and still charged for it. The cottages are very very basic and built poorly - the washroom floor is tilted in one cottage - you could fall while bathing! To add it up they don't even have 1 single servant / help who could bring even water. They don't even provide water everyday. Overall this is not at all worth the price. At max you should pay a price of INR 1000 for a night, nothing more than that. The host is so shrewd that his bookings are non-refundable in any case. The place is not even maintained well, showers are broken, there are termites and insects. (See termite in video near shower). My advice: Go at your own risk in this village and avoid this place.

Awesome place! We stayed for our honeymoon vacation one night and it was fantastic place to hangout. Anilal, the proprietor of the resort is very helpful and cooperative for most of the needs. His hospitality was fantastic. He arranged boating around the Alappuzha Lake for us which is available for hourly packages you can chose from. The food was okayish. They can arrange food if you order in prior. The view of the lake is not that much appreciable from the room. All mobile networks have good amount of range over there. The ambiance was good. Must give it a try at least once.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Host was really bad, gave us used soap, water in mcdowells bottle, no blankets and when we asked for blankets he gave the brown ones that you get on trains by irctc, there was no wifi either. Property was not clean and not at all maintained. Not at all as scenic as the pictures.

Anilal was a very bad host. Wifi does not work. That would have been fine, but he tried to sell us seal opened and self filled water bottles, when we asked for mineral water. All in all, lost his trust and hence checked out instantly. No good views, not a family place, ok if you are bachelors. Not worth the money. Looked very low budget place.
