First thing first Kot Kailash is not JUST a stay haven Rather its an emotion tucked in the Kumaon hills ~ what makes the experience memorable is the warmness extended by Pushkar Negi & Balam . From the smiles to the promptness of services , to the warmness of the bonfire lit patio to the scrumptious fresh regional meals to minute details taken care of was an emotion for us & not just a saty . The luxury we experienced from the interiors of the cottage to immaculate serving style of the meals was all very well thought of . While staying here do look out for the ever changing beautiful view from the full blown window of the Himalayas ♥️ word's aren't enough ~ u need to stay a couple of nights here to know what i mean .

We just had one of the most memorable vacation. Kot Kailash loacated at Jageswar is a dreamy place. They are providing experiences preserving the kumaoni culture. The place is away from hustle & bustle of city life, year around pleaseant weather because of it's altitude. Very serene location apt for mediattion. the staffs especially balam takes care of every minute needs. food is just delicious, dining in the designated area overlooking the hills is such an unique experience. loved every bit of our stay, including bhalu, miki, julie the 3 pet dogs; our kids were hooked to them. highly recommend it.

What truly made my stay exceptional was the personal touch from the owner, Pushkarji. He is an incredibly kind and humble person, always ready to help and ensure every guest feels at home.

Kot Kailash is a cosy boutique homestay surrounded by nature. Pushkar, our amazing host, made the stay special with his local Kumaoni knowledge, delicious food (don’t miss the Kumaoni Dal & Banoffee Pie!), and great conversations. A short trail with fellow guests turned into a memorable bonding experience. Highly recommended for a soulful getaway!

Amazing Kumaoni style homestay. One of the best place to meditate. Property is surrounded by majestic view and well connected with road.Pushkar and his pet balu is very friendly. We really had great conversation over the campfire. We ended up with good bond over nature and exchanging the knowledge. Would love to visit again soon. Super excited to see how this view look in winter. Thank you Pushkar and team for this amazing experience.

Our visit to Kot Kailash in Uttarakhand was an unforgettable family experience. Hosted by the warm and ever-smiling Pushkar Negi, we instantly felt at home. Chandan, the in-house cook, served up simple yet delicious local meals with love. Our kids even got to join him for a cooking class - cooking local rice and dal with joy. Balam, the ever-helpful caretaker, was always around with a smile and a story. The hike to the Kot temple, guided by Balam, was both scenic and soul-soothing. Panoramic Himalayan views from the top made every step worth it. Evenings by the fire, with mountain tales and homemade food, were magical. It was a rare blend of nature, culture, and genuine human connection. Kot Kailash left us nourished—in spirit, in heart, and in stomach. Thank you Pushkar and team for having us over ..looking fwd to come back again and stay at the new place you making that has the view of the Himalaya right outta the window
