Location: On a hilltop, quite far (about 3kms) from the market. Last 1km very steep climb on a bad road. It's a 1hr walk to the Homestay from the town. Extremely tiring walk. Car takes Rs 200 for a drop. Otherwise, once you reach, the location is fabulous, clear views of the surrounding mountains (including Kanchendzonga) and Kalimpong town, without any obstruction. Very peaceful locality. Service: Filtered drinking water available. Manager is polite and helpful. It was extremely humid when I visited in Sep'23, the Manager immediately arranged a table fan for me. Service is quite prompt. The staff is pleasant. Room: The building is quite old, so some of the fittings are rusted. Room is large and clean, simple decoration, has the basic facilities. They provide only a towel. The personal balcony is nice, has a table and two chairs. Bathroom was clean, but the washbasin was too small. No place to keep toiletries. Geyser is available. Food: Breakfast was good. Main meals were just average. Since there are no restaurants in the area, you have to eat at least your dinner here. Overall, nice place to stay, friendly staff, clean and safe. However, the distance from the town and steep road is a negative point. Recommended!

It was a good homely stay away from the hustle bustle of the town. Also, cleanliness is top notch. You'll love it. Attached the view from balcony which should be a way better view but not when we stayed due to the clouds and fogs :O All in all, you can book it without any worries.

One of the best home stays I have stayed at till date. Anna Grace and her family were extremely welcoming, and this is the best part, other than the fact that the balcony room we stayed at offered excellent views of the mountains. I have to mention that even though the home stay belons to Anna Grace and her family ,her aunt Anamika was amazing. She really took good care of us.

Me and my husband stayed for 17-19th September. And oh my god, what an experience. The morning after we went, a magnificent view of Kanchenjunga woke us up right from our balcony. The day we were leaving, Kanchenjunga again showed up to bid us adieu. I couldn't have hoped for a better view from the balcony in the monsoons! Apart from this, an experience staying with Praneeta Ji was also something else. Homely behaviour, beautiful red tea .. I am still sad that I came back. All in all, this was probably the BEST homestay I've stayed in ever. Dew Drop is a hidden gem to stay at. :)

During my trip, I stayed over many places, met many people, but the hospitality and the home like treatment, you'll get here, is a no match. Dew drop homestay makes u feel like a family member, and the people over there are very helpful and comforting in their approach. Apart from the hospitality, the place is mind blowing. It is located at the hill top, giving u a birds eye view of the entire kalimpomg town. Another beauty is its open terrace, which gives u a glimpse of the mountains from every corner. To keep it short, the prices are also very reasonable, which makes it easier even if someone going solo. Anytime you are in kalimpomg, stay in this place, you'll love it!!
