Miltonia Homestay

This was the one of the best homestays near kalimpong. And their hospitality just took my heart. The owner mrs. Banita Sundas, was really generous, helpful and all...... The location and the property was the best part...... It was a marvelous stay at 'Miltonia homestay '....... Everyone should must visit this place once you visit kalimpong or near there......

The hosts were kind enough to accommodate us when we were recently held up due to land slides on the way to Sikkim. We had no prior booking, still the hostess took us in, prepared a sumptuous dinner. Rooms and baths are clean and well appointed by homestay standards. I think anyone who is looking for a homely stay in Kalimpong can look up this quant place.

I with my family stayed at this homestay. Location-wise it is situated at very convenient point, near the market which is 10-15 mins driveway and on the road from Siliguri to Kalimpong. The food served is superb in taste, the service offered is praise worthy. All the members of home are very friendly and helpful. The lady, Ms Banita, who looks after the affairs of the homestay is very sweet natured. We always felt at home out of home. They arranged the cab service for us. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Words are not enough to describe our host Binitaji. She is a gem of a person and ever helpful. She does not have No in her dictionary. Service is awesome and She personally takes care of everything you need. She even let us borrow her personal equipments in need. Our child enjoyed the spread out ground floor since we were the only ones most of the days. We were only supposed to spend 1 day there but after staying there and receiving their warmth we decided to stay 4 days here. It's a little way before the bus stand so away from the noise and hustle bustle of the tourist zone. There are a few shops around the homestay. The mountain view from the main bedroom is amazing. They also have a cute pomeranian dog who is quite loving. Will definitely try and come back. The only negatives we could find are as below: 1. Main bedroom bathroom floor is very slippery so please be extra careful. 2. Latches are very hard to close in most room bathrooms. I cut my hand trying to open the bathroom door 3. There are a lot of dogs nearby since its a hill station so that's normal but early morning and late nights you have to be extra careful.

Banita and her lovely family were so welcoming and kind. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food excellent. Would have loved to stay longer.

Stayed at miltonia for 2 nights initially- while returning back stayed again for a stopover. It was a wonderful experience - I had prior booking somewhere else, got accidentally to the Homestay - wonderful stay wonderful host Banita Jee and her family, .. recommend everyone to plan Gangtok - take a stopover at Kalimpong rather than the hustle bustle of darjeeling- enjoy the beauty around while staying at Miltonia.. thanks once again Dear Banita for making my solo trip to north east a wonderfully memorable experience. Look forward to visit again .. cheers

Amazing view with great ambience, good food and perfect location. The owners are super friendly and very helpful. Staying here definitely felt like being at home. Had a great time at Miltonia Homestay and looking forward to visit again. Also would highly recommend others to visit this place.

We had a pleasent stay at Miltonia Homestay in Kalimpong. Actually we felt homely atmosphere. Food was delicious. Front view is excellent... Definitely will come back in our next trip to meet with them. Thanks uncle, dada & di for giving a wonderful time.. and Adrikaa♥️ I miss u...
