The Sangam Homestay, 7th Mile, Near View Point, Rishi Road, Kalimpong

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful homestay, and it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the warm and friendly staff welcomed us with open arms. Mr. and Mrs. Dukpa, the owners, were particularly gracious hosts, making us feel right at home from the get-go. The property itself is a haven of tranquillity, with cozy and spotlessly clean rooms that immediately put me at ease. But what truly took our breath away were the stunning views from both the balcony and terrace garden. Whether enjoying our morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the vistas were mesmerizing and provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Speaking of relaxation, the staff's attentive and welcoming behaviour made our stay even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed, with a special shoutout to Linkden bhai for his exceptional hospitality. And let's talk about the food – it was nothing short of divine! Every meal was a culinary delight, but the pakoras, momos, aloo parathas, and banana-flower chatni (mocha) were absolute standouts. We found ourselves eagerly anticipating each mealtime, knowing that we were in for a treat. In summary, our stay at this homestay was nothing short of magical. From the cozy accommodations to the breathtaking views, and the delicious food to the warm hospitality, every aspect of our experience was top-notch. I can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this little slice of paradise. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a truly exceptional getaway!

It was a very mesmerizing feeling .We have stayed here for 3 days with my little child aged 8 years.This was 10 to 15 minutes by car from main market .The place is quite calm and cozy. Outside views from the terrace are amazing.The hospitality of the members specially Linkden are awesome.What a boy he is.All time he is in service.And Mrs.Dukpa and didi and two little kid Piu and Ninche are also very affable.The two little kids are playing and kidding with my son.Foods are simple but tasty specially chicken kopta.The room was big and clean . Our experience in the homestay is almost incomparable.

Our host Mr & Mrs Dukpa are wonderful human being. Treated us like family. We visited with our one and half year old son. They gracefully prepared food for our son also. Surrounding view from the roof just astounding. Food and service were great.

It was a memorable experience at Sangam Homestay which is situated at the heart of Kalimpong city having a 360° view of the surrounding mountains from the terrace. One is bound to get mesmerized by the view of the setting sun. If the sky is clear one can have the awesome view of the Kanchenjunga from the terrace. The proprietor of this homestay Mr. Tshring Dukpa is a very generous person and the hospitality of his wife Mrs. Ganga Dukpa will make you feel at home. The rooms are cosy, specious, clean and well maintained. The washrooms are fitted with necessary amenities. The food cooked by our hostess was just awesome, and the crispy chicken pakodas as evening snacks is worth mentioning. We had visited his place on Buddha Purnima and though it was chilly outside yet the view of the full moon over the tall pine trees and mountains kept us on the terrace till late at night. Will surely visit this homestay again.

We had a wonderful stay here. The host made us feel at home with their extremely polite and humble behavior. Although we were here for less than 24 hours but had an amazing time here. The rooms were very neat and clean with all kinds of facilities available. Will surely recommend it.

The host was so warm and welcoming! I was a solo traveller here and the host took great care and made sure i had a great stay. I would totally recommend this to anyone travelling with family or even solo like me. We had a great time watching the world cup and i totally felt like home!

It was a lovely stay there. We went there with our 5 year old kid & I must say I had no worries for his comfort in that homestay. Ganga didi, Manju didi & the homestay's manager Likden took full care of all three of us. Likden also arranged a local conveyance for our hassle-free tour during the three days of our stay in Kalimpong. Regarding the food, I would like to say that everything was excellent. For lunch & dinner we had delicious homestyle spread. Not only that, as we wanted to taste some tibetian delicacies; they served momos & thukpa as well. For breakfast we got to taste some awesome chole bhature & Alu Parathas over there. Overall the food experience was too good. They had a 2 year old baby who came to visit his maternal house during that time & my boy had a great time playing with him. We booked a Triple room with mountain view for three of us but it was sufficient to accommodate three adults & one kid very easily. All together it was a great experience. Just one thing I would like to mention that the approach road is quite inclined to the homestay. So if you are planning to visit there by your own car you can ask the manager seeking help for ascent & descent. We found everyone to be extremely helping and cordial. It's a 5 star review from us.

Had a wonderful experience and quality time at the Sangam Homestay. Accommodation, cleanliness, food, view from the balcony/ terrace everything was amazing. Moreover the helpful and friendly behavior of the owner Tshering uncle, his wife and the full team made our stay a brilliant experience for our whole family. We got all the help and support we needed from the loving family. Really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to visiting the place and the people once again 😊
