HOLUMBA HAVEN

During my stay at the Holumba, I found myself surrounded by a serene environment filled with birds and lush greenery. The staff was incredibly helpful, ensuring that my needs were met with a warm and friendly demeanor. The owners were exceptionally welcoming, making my stay effortless and enjoyable. The rooms were immaculately clean and cozy, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. Overall, my experience at the homestay was nothing short of delightful, offering a perfect blend of nature, hospitality, and comfort. Thank you Holumba for such hospitality. Very nice and soothing place. In the midst of natural beauty, the property looks almost like heaven. Service and Hospitality are both good. Vintage in one word. I would recommend holumba haven for my friends if they ever visit kalimpong. It's scenic beauty is worth staying for.

Very green place with a lot of exotic plants. Nice cottages and very quiet. Food was good but mostly same every day. Nice dogs to cuddle and play with.

This was the best place we stayed in our 2.5 months travels through India, we didn’t want to leave! The cabins have beautiful views of the gardens, it’s very peaceful and private. The owners are friendly and gave us a ride into town one day. The location is convenient and easy to walk around.

I fail to understand why this property has not been accorded Heritage status as yet!. The several cottages that dot the resort are vintage and have an entirely out of the earth ambience. The bedroom, the closet, the washroom, and a little looby are so unique and cozy that you feel frozen in time. The food was delicious, although the dining time was a bit early. Mrs Thinley and Mr Norden were very amicable hostesses and hosts. The entire property is enveloped in greenery which adds another star to the ratings. All in all I highly recommend this hellava place to fellow travellers.

I checked in here for one night (3 May), and immediately regretted that I had not booked for a longer stay. Quiet, quaint little place tucked in a lush garden. The hosts Norden and Thinlay were very warm and welcoming. Conversations with both Norden and his father were rather enlightening. Thank you.

One of the most lovely homestays you can ever be at. The hosts and staff are lovely. The property has a lot of flora and fauna. If you want to have a relaxing time, good food and enjoy conversations around your iwn private cottage, Holumba is highly recommended .
