J Beach Stay

RK beach is at walkable distance from RK beach (no beach view) , friendly staff. However there is no lift available in this property, no in-house food, no good dining place near the hotel, you can order food from outside. . The AC was leaking, my clothes got wet. Soap & shampoo only toiletries offered by the hotel.

The owner is claiming that everything is a lie, so I had to attach this screenshot as evidence. Please don’t book this hotel. Here is the proof. If you check other platforms like Agoda, Goibibo, or MMT, you'll find the same reviews about this hotel. ============================== The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, which is near RK Beach. Other than that, there’s nothing good to mention. 1. Upon arrival, we were initially denied check-in, with the hotel manager repeatedly questioning how we had paid through the online booking service. If you've booked at a discounted rate, expect them to demand extra charges. We had reserved an AC room for 1800 INR but were forced to pay an additional 860 INR before we were allowed to check in. 2. The hotel advertises various amenities online, but none of them are actually available. Even a complimentary water bottle, which was listed as a free amenity, was not provided. 3. There is no restaurant on-site, nor are there any close by. To find food, you need to drive at least 600-700 meters. 4. The hotel lacks an elevator, and guests must climb the stairs to reach the upper floors, which can be quite inconvenient, especially for those staying on the second floor. 5. The hotel is located within a residential building, which means there are many restrictions. For instance, smoking inside or outside the room may lead to complaints from other residents. 6. There is no provision for drinking water in the hotel. Guests must go down to the ground floor and walk approximately 200 meters to access drinking water.

The only good thing about this hotel is it's location other than that the service is very poor. They made us change our room for 2 times within 4 days and no proper drainage system. The rooms were stinking and no system of ventilation in the rooms. They also didn't provide complimentary water for 2 days. It's a appartment which is transformed into 6 small rooms. No sanity no hygienic. Don't believe these pictures. Only stay here if you want to make your vacation miserable. Only one staff is taking care of the hotel. And even at the last day the owner forced us to leave our room early because he had booking for that particular room though charged the full day tariff from us beforehand and later denied. The behaviour of the owner is very bad. We had to wait at the AC lounge in the station for our train. Very poor. Do consider this before booking this hotel.

Beautiful room with attached bath and balcony...just opposite to Vizag beach...the behaviour of the manager is quite good, friendly and he managed the car of us to visit the entire city tour ...just wow

Wonderful place to stay just in walking distance to RK beach. It’s a budget friendly stay as well. All amenities were good and the staff is completely supportive. Definitely recommend this to everyone who is willing to book a stay near Vishakapatnam beach.

Room was excellent and suitable for family, all amenities are available.....AC, TV all are working well. Room service is also good.. Main speciality of this room is ...beach is visible from the room..... I strongly recommend to stay......
