OYO Hotel Grand City

Prime location, booked it through OYO and i was expecting them to ask for more money, so when it did happen it was not a shock for me. Honestly i think the OYO rates are way too cheap and this entire hospitality industry is hurting. So forgetting that aside 1k for a double bed AC room is still not exorbitant. The staff are polite enough, but probably because i didn't make a fuss about the extra money.

The best OYO hotel I have ever been to. This place is GOLD! The staff is super friendly, very helpful and always smiling. The gentlemen at the reception, Bharath, our room attendant were such nice people to meet. Our room was very nice, spacious and perfect for three guests. The restaurant is 10/10. Food is yummy, they have traditional Assamese dishes. The hotel has a store room if you are a motor biker like us. Very roomy, covered and secure parking facility and an excellent location in Tezpur. The best feature of this hotel is their excellent staff. All of them need a raise. The way they take care of guests is gold standard. Thank you Grand city team. Keep rocking!

Very very poor service... Dear grand city team, Kindly update your bathoom quality of your rooms, its too small and couldn't be highgenic. 1500 for these room its seriously worst. Update your rooms and also bathroom's. Otherwise you will shutdown your hotel business.

I booked this hotel through MMT and paid the rate asked for but when I entered the hotel they denied providing the room saying that the amount I paid is very low and they asked me 2000 extra for the room. The room they showed me for 2000 was not worthy of paying 300 also. And most importantly the staff were so arrogant. I suggest everyone not to step in the hotel.

Worst experience ever, the receptionist was a young boy started demanding extra 500 rupees for my stay. He was literally taking advantage of my situation, ivisited tezpur for an interview, i didn't want to create some chaos..so i opted for paying some extra.

Discusting stay...not at all well maintained. We booked two rooms for 6 adults as it was told king size bed. But when we reached there we saw the bed were queen size. But they manage to give one big room. False information on online booking. The curtains were dirty and torn. The blankets were dirty. I would give zero rating. Worst stay

Very poor experience, te Oyo people take bookings at a discounted rate for customers just to be cheated by the hotel people's as they never allot rooms at the rate fixed by Oyo, I ended up paying extra 500 Rooms that too for a non AC Room, i will advice not to book any rooms in Grand City ,the staffs as well as the Owner is very arrogant. Pathetic experience , even the door can't be locked properly plus lot of other issues, never book rooms in this hotel.

If i cound post negative stars i would have happily done so. Worst experience ever. Firstly, they dont go with the online price, they ask for more, infact double the amount that you have already paid. Secondly, they dont give you the room that you booked. Thirdly, whatever room they put you is one of the dirtiest. The bedcover is dirty. There was a cockroach in the bed and walls were all fungal. I booked a Double Twin room, but they put me in a single room with little larger size bed, there was no space at all, the room was dirty, paints in the wall were fading and fungus was catching up in the wall, the bathroom was small with no flush in the toilet. Actually i was given two choise, one with no flash in the toilet and other with no door lock. This hotel is a irony in itself. Please dont book and if you have booked then cancel immediately. Or you could stay for a night and write a long post like me. Choice is yours. Thanks.
