The Panda Hotel in Dharamshala McLeod Ganj

"Our stay at The Panda was a wonderful experience. They have a beautiful terrace with a fantastic mountain view but no demarcation between a smoking and non-smoking area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the bed could have been more firm. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the owner Mr. Abhishek and his wife. They looked after us really well even in the absence of the staff. The breakfast and dinner was impressive, with a wide selection of options. The hotel's location is near the bus stand and the market (back side) making it convenient for exploring but consider the approach when planning your stay with senior citizens (doesn't have a lift)." Overall, we would recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms and excellent service.

I had a wonderful experience staying at The Panda Hotel. The mountain view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunset – it's truly a sight to behold! The food here is delicious and freshly prepared. Every meal felt like a treat, and the service was warm and welcoming. It's a very comfortable and cozy place to stay, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with great food and stunning views, I highly recommend The Panda Hotel. It really made my trip special!

This venue is highly recommended for accommodations in Dharamshala, offering an array of rooms to cater to diverse budgets, spanning standard to king rooms. We selected a Deluxe room located on the second floor, featuring a terrace garden with spectacular views, and the food was impressive. We anticipate returning during the winter season.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this place truly deserves a warning for others. First of all, the food had no taste, absolutely bland and disappointing. Secondly, there was no proper service at all—staff were either missing or completely careless. The entire place was dirty—tables sticky, floor unclean, and even the cutlery felt unhygienic. To be honest, it’s hard to tell whether this is a restaurant or someone’s rooftop—it’s that messy and unprofessional. And seriously, if you can’t run a restaurant properly, then just shut it down. Stop wasting people’s time and money. Avoid at all costs.
