Hotel City Gold

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The family room we booked was priced at 1500 per day, which we found to be quite reasonable given the quality. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, with reliable running water. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. However, one downside was that there was no food available during our stay. Despite this, we enjoyed our time at the hotel and appreciated the good value for money.

It was an ok hotel , little overpriced, doesn’t fulfill the amount paid except the balcony view it gives. The balcony was big and gave an amazing view. The exhaust was not working. Kind of overcharged us for a cup of tea and bread slice. The staff was courteous . No cafe is there so u can go to the cafe besides this hotel for food.

The hotel is about 400 meters away from the market so the stay was very peaceful and quiet. You can easily walk to the market if you want to explore the mrket for some time, at night the path is in complete dark though. We still walked the road and found some people also walking the road, so it seems it's safe. I will stil reccomend to come back to hotel before the dark or you can take taxi too, from the main market it's chargeable just at 100 rs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view of the hills from the balcony is breathtaking and I personally found it the best thing about the hotel. The room and bathroom was spacious. The only challenge was getting quick supply of hot water in the bathroom. However, we filled the bucket when the water turned hot and used it. The food served by the hotel on demand was delish. Overall, the stay in this hotel was quite an experience. It's a pocket friendly option and you are certainly going to leave the hotel with a happy heart.

I have stayed in this hotel for One day while transiting to Naddi. Hotel is on Cantt Road Dharamshala. Easily Located if you ask anyone about the road and on the way to Mcleodganj.||Parking: They have their own parking space for 5-6 cars easily||Room; I have stayed in Room No. 502 which is having Awesome Valley View with good Balcony. Room was also very decent and Huge. If you are travelling in Group then you can easily adjust 2 mattresses in there||Food : You have to order the food well before so that they can serve you better. But Pricing of Food is also ok as compared to other Hotels in the area. Food is good in terms of taste.||Facility : You have to ask for things like Towels/Soaps and Water Jug. But they provide all these things without any fuss. ||||I could have given 5 rating too but they need to improve on things. Hotel is far from any place to roam around in Dharamshala and only choose this hotel if you are travelling from your own car. ||||P.S: Yes the water was too hot but before jumping into the water. please check how hot it is rather than blaming.

You will get nice view for this hotel. well managed. great service ,nice people. tasty food. buffet system for eating. i will recommend this hotel to stay for 3-4 days. we were here for 3 days and loved it. spacious rooms with nice view outside of window.

Please never select this hotel. Amenities damn poor. I was burnt badly by hot running water in the bathroom. Can never imagine an instance when the tap is itself broken and the gush of hot boiling water is upon u. Staff wise only 2 people. U have to order your food atleast 45 mins prior. No one knows the exact location. Please use GPS to reach this location. Patethic hotel.

Almost every hotel in this area has a great balcony views. Staaf was quite friendly and cooperative. The food was amazing.
