GAA - KIT hotel

Warm and homely place located in Kaza. Great home feel, the rooms were warm and cosy, when the outside temperature was -14 degrees it didn't affect the room. As the room had a well maintained heater and heated blankets. The bed was nice and comfy. The room is spacious and there are rooms which can accommodate 6 people and the room is still spacious. The food provided was excellent and was prepared fresh to make us warm and a variety of local cuisine items were given during our stay. And it was prepared for us by the owner itself. Overall it is a great and affordable place.

The chef of this hotel has been Awesome, you order anything and you will get immediately on the top of 5 star hotel brewing serve. It’s complete family and couple place. I must say that the chef who is from Nepal having experience of more than 30 years is serving the best from his heart. One should come and enjoy. The owner of this restaurant Mr Gabbar is quite familiar and helpful in all sense. Believe me it’s worth staying here. Thanks,

Very Beautiful and Nice place to stay in Kaza, wherein one can find Luxury, Peace of Mind and can can Relax out of Stress. During daytime, the property is blessed with the bright sunshine and warmth of Sun, Evenings can be enjoyed around the Bon fire and Music.

We all the way from Vadodara to Spiti road trip had amazing experience at your Hotel.The service, cleanliness and staff was also helpful. We also had delicious food and specially Baigan Bharata, Khichdi and kadhi. We would like to visit again.

Had a very pleasant stay at GaaKit. The food is top tier, vibe is very nice, rooms are comfortable. Nothing else is needed when you are travelling this far after a tiring journey. The owner (Tsering bhaiya) is very kind and helpful. He told us his army stories including the time he was posted in siachin. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Recently my friend and I ( 2 women travelers ) visited Spiti. We visited Kaza during our trip. We stayed at GAA - KIT hotel in Kaza during our visit. Pros - Located very near to the Kaza market but in a quiet place. Rooms are good enough, has a spacious balcony. Modern fitting which will give you a luxurious feel. Cons - Once you stay in this hotel, you will realize that thoughtlessly money has been invested on things which might not help the customer at all. first we were greeted by the staffs ( one local person who was nice and two boys who always stared and giggled at for no reason which surely made us feel uncomfortable). we were assigned a room with nice view but the architecture and interior of the room is just pathetic. Toilet seat is so close to the wash basin, in case stand to wash your hand in the basin you might end up touching the toilet. after checking few rooms we got a room which had a bathroom we could live with as we were there to stay for 2 days. as soon as we hung something in the bathroom hanger it just fell off. bathroom hanger is fixed in a place where a only a very tall person can easily reach. When we opened the drawer we found cigarette ashes. we complaint to the staff ( who was owners brother) he asked us to adjust. Even though we travelled in the off season we were paying peak reason's rate for a good and luxurious property. so my point is why should we adjust. Post that spoke to the owner who is a retired army person, he offered us to shift the room to near by hotel which we dint agree to. Room that we stayed in, dint have cupboards but we could adjust. Food is not at all upto the mark, the food gave us bad stomach. Cook dint even know make to poha. Even though we liked the owner, I dont recommend staying in this hotel. it is hardly a value for money. one suggestion, please train your hotel staffs to behave well with the customers for them to be comfortable.

The hotel is in a great location with excellent food and service. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist. The room offers a fantastic view of the mountains. The owner is kind and knowledgeable about Spiti Valley; be sure to chat with him for insights. It's a must-visit if you're in Kaza.
