Hotel Mangal Deep

I recently stayed at this hotel during my trip to Manali and had a pretty good experience overall. The rooms were decent for the price—clean and comfortable. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely worth the money. One of the biggest advantages is the location. It’s just a short walk from Mall Road, which made it super convenient to explore local cafes, shops, and attractions without needing a cab every time. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay near the heart of Manali with good accessibility and a peaceful vibe, this place is a solid choice.

I regret to say that booking this hotel in March 2025 was a huge mistake. When I made the reservation, I clearly mentioned that I needed a room for 2.5 days, and they agreed and I paid accordingly. They also promised me three breakfasts and two dinners as part of the deal. However, things quickly went downhill. The travel package they offered was a complete trap. Firstly, they failed to provide the personal cab service they had promised. Then, the cab drivers were not only rude but also seemed to think they were doing us a favor by taking us on the tour. They rushed us through the few places they chose to cover, ignoring the details promised in the hotel package. On top of that, the hotel service was abysmal. They wouldn’t even provide a single jug of water in the room and instead told us to get it ourselves. Even though I had paid for breakfast and dinner, I was not allowed to have them in the room, and if I wanted some personal time with my family/partner, I was forced to sit in a crowded public dining area with strict meal timings. The worst part was when it was time to check out. Despite my booking covering two full days of the tour, I was pressured to pack up and leave early, completely ignoring the terms of the reservation. This entire experience was far worse than what I’ve described here. I sincerely hope that no one else makes the same mistake I did by booking this hotel.

Very good hotel as per the price. Hotel also helped us in booking packages for all spots for manali like rohtang pass. Rooms were spacious. Food was good. Loved their morning tea wirh aloo the parantha. Best part was it was in mall road itself. Market is like 10 seconds far. They also booked us the whole travel package with all important spots The driver they gave us was really good. Made our trip really good. Would recommend 100%

Such a wrost experience please not visit in this hotel staff and all member very discusting not tell all information after check in and after submit a amount they have many term and conditions room check out timing is 10am bullshit service...

Hotel is okay okay, we were there for 3 days stay, overall it was fine, the owner was asking for 2500₹ for one day we bargained and we paid 2000₹, room is fine for two people but not for three. Geyser is very low power one, it takes half an hour for water to warm infact lukeworm. If you are low on budget, this might be a good one but otherwise there are better hotels out there. They also offer a package of 3 days for which they were asking for a charge of 3K per person but we hadn't taken it, so no idea about the quality of the package, but yes we had tried the food included in the package one night, they had charged us 200₹ for that, the food quality was decent and it was unlimited. Pros: 1. Good Location 2. Budget friendly Cons: 1. Geyser issue 2. Service not so good 3. WiFi not working

One of the worst hotel in maal road manali , don't go there. Services are too pathetic, staffs are not supportive. Never book this hotel . There are many good hotels in mall road and old manali . Very disappointed with managaldeep management , staffs and services

Worst. Worst . Worst . Believe me or not , this was my worst experience.. room service was not provided.. 70% time.. no electricity... Washroom was not at all clean...the tap of the sink was broken... And no electricity.. so no use of geyser as well in this chilli minus temperature ... Door lock was not working properly, .. room heater also charged extra money , ... Overall below average. But at the reception , there was a fire place using coal and wood.. that was quite welcoming.. I loved that.... But no hospitality at all
