Hotel Victoria Palace

The bathrooms are of the worst quality and half of them are stained, had to complain and change room, the initial room had a oily telephone, and the wc pot was so small, you cannot even do your business. They really are insulting the king whose palace the hotel was once.

We had no prior booking, so we got booked through a Shivalik group agent and booked a family room. We were charged 2000 Rs for a family room which was actually 1600 i found out later. ||||Pros - The location is good, 10mins walk from the market place and is quiet. Its located on the road running along the Beas, but u dont get a view of it from hotel. You need to take a few steps to see it. The hotel structure is impressive. Food is palatable, not delicious though. Family room was spacious. ||||Cons - Power cutoff is frequent and do not expect the geyser to run all the time. Though you might have a separate geyser in your bathroom, it did not run for us. The water logged bathroom wont run dry anytime and we had to step in with crooked faces all the time. The carpets seemed to be cleaned a month ago and the beds were'nt fresh. Room service was ok with food served in 50 mins which seemed reasonable for us. The room had an attached balcony but i dint feel like stepping into it as it had cigarette buds and water bottles scattered all around. The balcony was at the rear end, so no view. ||||Tips - Do not check into this hotel if cleanliness is the thing you are looking for. Overall, the hotel room is good with all fittings, but check if every gadget runs fine. If you are traveling during the high season like we did (May-June), please book the room in advance and insist that its cleaned when you arrive.

Hotel owner is a big time cheat. He did not return a wrongly done double payment through Google Pay on 7th June 2019 of Rs. 9790/-. I shared my account statement with him for transparency but he did not and kept denying the same. He did not share his account statement of that date. He kept avoiding me is enjoying on my hard earned money. Never stay in hotels of such cheat owners.

Didn't much favorable or even that many reviews about the hotel either, but chosen the place solely for being at the highway and near the river. Happened to be worst decision of the trip. ₹10 service charges for each dinner, ₹300 per night heater charges when a new one can be bought @ ₹400 (but guess other hotels would have been the same), no towels, soaps, sampoo etc given during entire three days stretch (totally unacceptable and unprofessional), the railings been much wide means not safe for small kids (can understand as old structure but in good shape), so called Deluxe room (which I am sure it wasn't) without even balcony, parking was good but then it was back to back means others need to remove their vehicles first in case you parked first and wanted to move out (ended up with a dent due to inexperienced staff about parking strangely). Ordered food only once and preferred not order in rest of journey, just average.It had a good area for badminton and had a pair to play with, which was sure a good part. We stayed in Room Number 229/230 and would really like to know if they been Deluxe at all?

Hotel offers good site view of beas river from rooms as you can feel the beauty of beas river by sitting in balcony. |About food it is average again|About hotel staff they are good in communication|Rooms were clean. Parking space is there but not that much|All around it is budget hotel

Victoria Palace Hotel has a very nice view of the Beas River from my room. Mountains were also easily seen from window. Very nice guys and staffs and management. All were very kindly type people. Room was good and a window was available in the room for the outside view.

Outside Manali main town. Distance from Manali Mall road is approx 2.7km. But room are soo big and hot water 24*7 available. Sorry I forgot to take pictures, but belive me in summer vacation when manali is over crowded it was the best hotel.
