Jai Mata Di Overall a good experience. The staff is cheerful and very supportive. Breakfast and food is good. They provide complementary drop to Helipad/Banganga Only one point is the bathrooms can be cleaner. we did find a small cockroach.

We booked Best Western Swing High Katra for our 4-day Vaishno Devi trip through Agoda. Unfortunately, due to a delayed flight, we arrived around 10 pm. By that time, the hotel had already tried to charge us for the entire stay, assuming we had not checked in. Ideally, only one day's charge should apply in such situations, but luckily, our bank declined the charges. Despite my high expectations from a hotel with the Best Western brand, the experience felt more like a typical local Katra hotel than a world-class establishment. While the breakfast was great and the staff responsive, they fell short in a few areas. They arranged transportation to and from the trek entry, which was convenient, but the housekeeping was disappointing. Our room was not cleaned during our time away, and when we asked about it, they mentioned that we hadn't requested it—something that was never communicated to us upon check-in. Even after requesting room cleaning, they failed to replenish basic bathroom supplies like tissue rolls and did not provide napkins. We had to call repeatedly to get the basics sorted out. Additionally, the power outlets were not functional for international devices, adding another layer of inconvenience. Overall, while the hotel had some positives, it did not live up to the Best Western standard. It felt more like a local hotel with decent services, but not the world-class experience I expected.

The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and the quality and taste of the food was excellent . I ordered mushroom kathi rolls and fresh lime soda.

I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Swing Hotel in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. The rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with top-notch amenities.
