BLOOMING DALE

A good choice in Srinagar. It is more of a homestay than a hotel. Host Mr Firdous is down to earth and gave valuable tips for local travel. Rooms are clean. Wifi is available. Being vegetarian I had apprehension but they served veg BF and meals. Mirbhai served kashmiri Khawa and good food. They also arranged car for us for 5 days with a very reliable driver named Muzaffar. Overall a very happy experience.

I was there in Kashmir to work on my book, and I stayed at Blooming Dale for the 6th time. Each visit has been wonderful, and the hospitality of Mr. Firdous always makes the experience special. It truly feels like a second home.

The owner and staff were so generous and friendly. One of the best places to stay in srinagar. Rooms, hygiene, privacy and security were top class. The place is situated near dal lake and it is nearby to all the tourist sights in srinagar. I recommend this place for a comfortable stay in srinagar.

Perfect place to stay, very good and very quite location with the beautyfull garden, helpfull owner. Rooms are well equiped and clean. Hot water works well. Tasty meal. All you need for your perfect hollyday. There is also a mini museum inside the house.

Mr. Firdous will look after you like family and you’ll never feel like a tourist. The place is beautiful, clean and cozy. Mir ji will cook you some of the tastiest food you’ve ever eaten. Overall, you’ll have the time of your life. Forget all trepidation and doubts about Kashmir. Just book Bloomingdale, book your tickets and enjoy paradise on earth. Will recommend Bloomingdale and Kashmir to everyone.

Staying at the Bloomingdale’s was the best hotel experience I ever had. Everything was provided and accommodated. MR. Firdous not only welcomed us into his hotel but he also was our guide, arranged for us to go to any places which we wanted or was our guide depending on his availability. At all times we were very safe and welcomed everywhere. I was there with my dad and he likes to talk and share his views and Mr. Firdous became a great friend. The food which was served in the morning and evening was very delicious and included in our stay. Overall, I believe this is the only place to book for Srinagar.

A small, wonderful and well located gem. Just off the Boulevard and Dalgate, but away from the noise of those locations. |Rooms are clean and heated, with the beds having electric blankets. The icing is the little garden which is perfect for a morning cuppa in the sun.|Friendly service, with Mr. Firdaus and son Basit taking personal care to ensure the guest's comfort. And all for a very reasonable price.|I'd say this is a steal. Can't recommend a better, wallet friendly place to stay in Srinagar.

This quaint antique styled resort is in Srinagar located near Ghat 2. Lived the wood works and outdoor gardens. The best part of the room are the heated bed which makes for comfortable sleep in cold nights. The food is great and served with a smile and humility and the host are absolutely gracious. He would ensure to take time to ask us our plan for the day and give us great tips on bargains and area to visit. We absolutely enjoyed the stay there.
