If i go to kashmir again, will stay here again. Experienced a wonderful hospitality from firdous uncle. His guidence & tips made our trip so easy & memorable. Nevertheless the kashmiri food was amazing. Got to know a lot of about kashmir. Nice & safe place.

We immediately felt at home in this lovely guest house with large beautifully furnished rooms. Right by the lake and all the restaurants, but quiet at night. Nice breakfast made to order which you can have in the garden. Your host will take such good care of you, even take you on a tour of the city

People like Firdaus (the owner) are a rarity in this world, immensely knowledgeable, always smiling, ever helpful and a down to earth kind person. We had countless conversations and he took time out of his busy schedule to go around town with us multiple times. The stay in Blooming Dale feels more like staying in a friends home rather than a commercial stay thanks to him. I wish him all the best for the future and hope to emulate more of this values in my life in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Bloomingdale homestay at Srinagar. Mr. Fridous was very kind enough to allow us an early check in the day we arrived at Bloomingdale. As soon as we checked in, we were given a welcome drink of Shahi Khawa and Kashmiri biscuits. The homestay is very close to Dal Lake and Boulevard road. Lal Chowk is about 5-7 minutes by auto. We stayed here for about 5 nights and we felt at home. Mr Firdous gave us a lot of useful tips for traveling and shopping around Kashmir. Mr. Mir was always available for all our requirements and always had a smiling face, be it any hour of the day. He always ensured that we got our tea in the early morning, whenever we were required to leave the hotel for sightseeing followed by a hot packed breakfast of parathas with butter, jam and pickle. Mr. Firdous used to always brief us about the menu available for dinner and would also ask us if we required anything more...one day I happened to mention about eating Nadru (Lotus stem) which is a Kashmiri dish and he ensured that it was on the menu the very next day. He also gave us Rogan Josh and Rista which were truly lip smacking. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Bloomingdale with awesome service and yummy food. It's a simple place but with so much of love around the people at this place. It's truly a home away from home. Thanks to Bloomingdale for making our holiday a memorable one.

I stayed here for 4 days exploring all the scenic places near Srinagar. But the last day of this trip was the best day of our Kashmir trip because of Mr. Firdaus , owner of Blooming-Dale, my daughter's new friend. I will not call it as a hotel|because it feels like a-second home when he is around. He will ensure you don't feel incomfortable. You can walk to him for any guidance, and he is always there for you. Once you start talking to him, you won't feel like stopping. He is the person to be with if you really want to know about the real Kashmir.|We were lucky enough. He took out a few|hours and went with us to the downtown (old Kashmir) streets and briefed us all what happened here. He is really a gem. If you are in Srinagar, this is the place, and this is the person to be with. Apart from memories, I found a new friend in Kashmir.|This property is situated near dal gate 2 . Dal Lake is just 5min walk from here.|And the most important part which many people will be worried about. Is Kashmir safe? I traveled by my personal vehicle from Delhi and spend around 7 days in Kashmir. There was no sign of insecurity throughout. People of Kashmir are very welcoming. Once you visit Kashmir, you will never want to go to the nearby hill stations near Delhi 😀

Super cozy place it feels like home. The room was essential and clean, plus it had a little back yard for reading or resting.|It is well placed few meters far from the lake. The area is safe so you can walk around the town with no problem.|The owner is super, he helped in so many ways and he drove us around to discover the city, and it was brilliant.|Plus his kashmir tea is the best I have ever tried|I definitely recommend the palce.

I had a wonderful stay at the Blooming Dale. Firdous made me feel very welcome and he graciously became my guide to all things Kashmiri. Nice, clean rooms, excellent location.

This quaint antique styled resort is in Srinagar located near Ghat 2. Lived the wood works and outdoor gardens. The best part of the room are the heated bed which makes for comfortable sleep in cold nights. The food is great and served with a smile and humility and the host are absolutely gracious. He would ensure to take time to ask us our plan for the day and give us great tips on bargains and area to visit. We absolutely enjoyed the stay there.
