The Vintage Srinagar at Dal Lake

I had the pleasure of staying at The Vintage Srinagar at Dal Lake in March, and I’m so sorry for the delay in writing this review. My friend and I were on a solo trip to Srinagar, and our experience here was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their friendliness and professionalism set the tone for a truly memorable stay. Every request was met with a smile, and their local knowledge helped us make the most of our time in Srinagar. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Our room was spotless, and it was evident that the management takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and comfort. The decor was charming and added to the overall cozy and inviting atmosphere of the place. The location by Dal Lake was perfect, offering stunning views right from our window. We enjoyed leisurely walks along the lake and found the setting to be both serene and picturesque. Overall, The Vintage Srinagar exceeded all our expectations. The combination of excellent staff, spotless accommodations, and a prime location made our solo trip to Srinagar truly special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area—whether you’re traveling solo, with a friend, or as part of a larger group. Had been to Srinagar on a 5 day trip and stayed at “The Vintage”. It is right in front of Dal Gate 2. Front desk team of Irshad and Shahid were very helpful and assisted me to plan my trip for the entire duration and arranged transport as well. Rooms were well maintained and the top floor restaurant is the best. The waiters there are very courteous and helpful. Took very good care of us throughout our entire stay. Will be coming back again whenever we plan Srinagar Trip. A special mention to driver Ishfaq who took us to all the tourist attractions in and around Srinagar safely and was always on time. Thank you! ☺️

This is a review about their restaurant. We had dinner there yesterday. I very strongly rate this restaurant for: 1) LOCATION : Yes it's location, location! Perfect for having dinner at their rooftop restaurant which has an open air terrace as well. The view of Dal lake, especially the evening view is nothing short of spectacular. 2). SERVICE: The service is outstanding. Outrightly professional and polite, the staff actually pampers you with attention. Thank you! 3). MENU: The menu is comprehensive, the food is freshly made and is a gourmet's delight. 4). PRICES: For the kind of food/service they offer, I'd say the restaurant is not overpriced and is value for money. Cons: Not actually a con since the hotel is in a very prime location, but if I have to mention a con it'd be the parking space which is small. Overall, it's a 5/5 for the restaurant from me. Keep it up! Here's a small suggestion : Nothing’s worse than settling down on the picturesque terrace restaurant only to be faced with a chilling breeze! Since winter's almost here please use outdoor heating elements like propane pillars or patio heaters to keep guests comfortable-- the warmer customers are during winter outdoor dining, the happier they’ll be!

I stayed here with my family for three nights and we had the best time. The rooms were superb and comfortable, and the restaurant was delicious with an amazing view, wonderful service, great food and a lovely overall ambience. All the staff were helpful and friendly and they linked us in with an awesome driver. We will definitely stay here every time we visit Srinagar!

I recently dined at this restaurant and had an exceptional experience. Mr. Shakeel Ahmed was extremely cooperative and displayed a high level of professionalism. The hospitality was outstanding, making the visit even more enjoyable. The food, prepared by skilled chefs, was both tasty and delicious. Overall, a wonderful place for a delightful meal with excellent service!

Great location right on Dal lake with amazing views from the rooms and rooftop restaurant. The service is a little slow for dinner but they do their best. The rooms are spacious and nice with comfortable beds and great water pressure in the bathroom. I highly recommend staying here if you want to be able to walk to the markets and shikara ghats for a ride on Dal lake. Lots of power outages despite having a generator

The hotel & the location is awesome..I mean breath taking . Last but not the least the restro which is on the top floor servers best food in the town . I like the service given by Mr. Shakeel Ahmed. Thank you for giving 5 star service
