Rooms need to be more clean and tidy, extremely needed to work upon on bringing up cleanliness. Whereas room service, food, staff is generously fabulous, they always come up with a solution with smiling faces. Great job and applause to Mr manzoor and his team.

Location is good but the food was disappointing, but the main issue was the rude behaviour of one staff member in restaurant (long tall guy with beard). I urge the owner to address this, as one person's actions can negatively impact the reputation of the restaurant. It seemed he was more focused on showcasing his bodybuilding skills than providing good service. I will not recommend couples and family due to this behaviour…

The floor is very bad and the balcony has wings of birds. But I did not like this hotel. The hotel need much upgrade to cleanliness. The washroom condition is very bad 👎.

The hotel needs some upgrades, it has some old school hotel interiors. The food and taste was good and home-like, though lacking much variety in their breakfast and dinner menu. As per my opinion, the rooms were small and confined, however the location of the hotel is apt so 5 stars for the location, just giving a good view of the ghats and dal lake being inside the city Srinagar.

It was a fantastic experience. The hotel was very good, although I was expecting better room service. We booked 4 rooms for 4K per night and stayed seven nights there. Gysers were working 24×7 and there was the facility of electric blanket as well which is a must as I visited in late December 2023. There was also power cut offs and their generators weren't working sometimes. Everything was good but they need to improve room service as the tel

Wonderful stay, staff very decent and polite, best location in front of Dal Lake, transport facility and food outlets nearby. I will stay in this hotel in future also. Rooms and toilets need renovation.

I recently had the displeasure of staying at the Shahabbas Hotel situated in DAL Lake, Kashmir, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an arrogant receptionist and staff who couldn't care less about the guests' concerns. Despite requesting multiple times to change the bed sheets and blankets due to dust, the staff made promises they had no intention of keeping. Their arrogance reached new heights when I followed up, only to be met with extremely rude responses. To add insult to injury, there was no hot water available in the midst of extreme cold temperatures. Despite notifying the staff, they conveniently ignored our pleas for assistance. The hotel's outdated infrastructure allowed cold air to seep in through windows and doors, resulting in my one-year-old son falling ill. It's unacceptable that a hotel neglects basic amenities that affect the health and comfort of its guests. Furthermore, the lift was out of order most of the time, making it a hassle to navigate the building's four floors. And don't even get me started on the state of the toilets – they were downright disgusting. In conclusion, I urge anyone considering staying at the Shahabbas Hotel to think twice and look elsewhere. The lack of amenities, indifferent staff, and overall disregard for guest comfort make it a place to avoid at all costs. In addition to the litany of issues I've already outlined, let me also emphasize the absence of room heaters, a basic necessity in cold climates like Kashmir. The lack of heating further exacerbated our discomfort during the freezing nights. Moreover, the exorbitant room charges for what can only be described as a D-grade room are utterly unjustifiable. It's outrageous that they have the audacity to demand such high prices for subpar accommodations and services. And let's not forget to mention the staff's complete disregard for guests' concerns and complaints. It's evident that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them, further adding to the overall unpleasant experience at the Shahabbas Hotel. In conclusion, this establishment fails miserably on every front – from amenities to service quality to value for money. Save yourself the trouble and avoid staying at the Shahabbas Hotel at all costs.
