The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. What truly made our visit special was the incredible hospitality of Omar and his family. Everyone in our family fell ill due to the cold weather and the altitude, but Omar's father went above and beyond by driving us to his doctor friend for treatment. Their kindness and care made us feel safe and well looked after during our stay. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming place with hosts who genuinely care about their guests, this is the place to stay.

We had an incredible stay at Holiday Homestay in Srinagar! Omar, the owner, is such a gem of a host—he made us feel so at home, like we were part of his family. The place is spotless, super cozy, and honestly feels like a 5-star experience with all the amenities you could ask for. The rooms are beautifully done, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into every detail. If you’re ever in Srinagar, don’t think twice—this is the perfect spot. Stayed at Holiday Homes for the last day of our Kashmir trip and wished we checked in here sooner. The place is indeed a home away from home with luxury rooms and amenities, what more would you ask for? Speaking to Omar, felt as if we were talking to old family friends. The home cooked meals were amazing as well. Don’t think twice to stay here if you are in Srinagar!

This place is my go-to for anytime I come to Srinagar. This place offers one of the best rooms (5-star equivalents) with the warmest hospitality. Omar, the owner of the property took care of us like their very own. And if you plan to do a staycation, this is the ultimate gem. I stayed here from Dec 25-Jan1. It was a Christmas/ new year vacation where I planned to stay indoors and enjoy the warm hospitality of Holiday Homes. I had the pleasure of meeting his family where I had amazing enriching conversations with his dad and was fortunate enough to enjoy his mother’s cooking. This place was everything I was looking for and personal. The rooms are pristine. The amenities are excellent. I did not need anything more than home cooked breakfast at their beautifully done hamam room by the lobby area. And service staff so polite, punctual, and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The views from the rooms are picturesque. They spoilt me so much that I never wanted to come back home. It was nothing short of perfect! Thank you so much for having me with holiday homes. Waiting to return to my favourite room again in sept/October as discussed with uncle. Lots of love.

Omar and the team have outdone themselves again! My second stay at Holidayhome Srinagar was nothing short of amazing. Big shoutout to Uncle and Aunty for their warmth and hospitality – they truly make you feel at home. Cozy rooms, peaceful vibes, and great food made these 10 days unforgettable. Can’t wait to be back!

Had previously left a 5 star review but only due to feeling severe pressure from owner. The room was good but a horribly hard bed. Owner was friendly until we didn’t book onto his tours (which were very expensive). Freezing cold house, and area was pretty boring. Would not recommend. Meals were expensive and average at best.
