Stayed at Holiday Homes for the last day of our Kashmir trip and wished we checked in here sooner. The place is indeed a home away from home with luxury rooms and amenities, what more would you ask for? Speaking to Omar, felt as if we were talking to old family friends. The home cooked meals were amazing as well. Don’t think twice to stay here if you are in Srinagar!

We had an incredible stay at Holiday Homestay in Srinagar! Omar, the owner, is such a gem of a host—he made us feel so at home, like we were part of his family. The place is spotless, super cozy, and honestly feels like a 5-star experience with all the amenities you could ask for. The rooms are beautifully done, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into every detail. If you’re ever in Srinagar, don’t think twice—this is the perfect spot. Thanks, Omar, for the amazing hospitality! We’ll definitely be back.

Had previously left a 5 star review but only due to feeling severe pressure from owner. The room was good but a horribly hard bed. Owner was friendly until we didn’t book onto his tours (which were very expensive). Freezing cold house, and area was pretty boring. Would not recommend. Meals were expensive and average at best.

A Home Away from Home!! It was truly a fantastic and comfortable place to stay for families.I went with my family to Kashmir for the first time.Two members in my family were on wheel chair.We were so warmly looked after and supported by the entire team at Holiday Home.The food is exceptional..Both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes are delicious. The host and his entire family put their best foot forward to ensure that we have a memorable stay. Even their boutique shop has an excellent collection. Would highly recommend Holiday home . Kudos to the team!!

We stayed at the holidayhome Srinagar for four nights and it was an incredible experience. It’s located near the Dal lake and is quite near all touristy locations . We came and were checked in immediately. They welcomed us like family and took a great deal of time and effort to make our stay super comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and equipped with toiletries and clean and comfortable bedding. The home cooked food was exceptional and wholesome. They accommodated some special requests for the kids like bread toast as an add-on. You will definitely feel at home and enjoy your stay here. This was an absolutely fantastic place to be whilst in Kashmir. Really, it was one of the highlights of our trip. In fact this place is the better than any hotel in Kashmir. As pure vegetarians, i was rather surprised that the food that the landlady prepared was best we had ever eaten. She used the freshest, authentic and purest ingredients and vegetables for the most authentic flavors and tast. The rooms were 4 top class with all facilities 24 hrs hot water, ac, heater. The best thing was glorious harwan mountain view and dal Lake a walk away. We had our privacy and 24hrs service was fantastic and homely. It is baby friendly and safe. I have deepest gratitude for the hosts for making our stay a truly authentic, top class experience. Wish i could give more than 5 stars

What a wonderful place! It was a delight to stay here. Received a warm welcome from the family! We were literally pampered by the entire family and their staff! Great hospitality, super helpful people, amazing home cooked food and a beautiful place!

This needs a detailed review as we stayed for 4 days and absolutely loved it. We were a group of 3 families and ended up choosing this place based on the videos and google reviews once a friend referred this to us. Rooms - spectacular, larger than your average hotel, clean and well equipped. One point of request to owners and chachaji, there is an unpleasant odor on the first floor room, I wish they could find the cause and fix this. Food- delicious, a large spread, and they would ensure that everyone has something to their liking. Loved the meals we had here and the breakfast too. Hospitality- expect a perfect kashmiri hospitality where you are well taken care of. They even helped us with a 5:30 am bread butter along with tea on our check out day, we had an early flight to catch. There is a nice hamam room which has a fire under the floor. we had the opportunity to have dinner there too. Loved the experience on the rainy cold night. Is this place expensive, I bet it's more than your average bed and breakfast hotel in Srinagar. But it's worth it. The meals could be made a little fair priced though, but definitely no complaints about it. The family room, having two double beds is an absolute blessing for a family of three or four. Go for it and thank me later.
