Don’t visit! Horrible experience! The staff is clueless and completely untrained, which ruined the entire stay. Bathrooms were filthy and smelled awful. They tried masking it with room fresheners, but it didn’t work. The food was a major disappointment—completely lacking in quality. Additionally, they kept manually turning off the room heater from outside, and I had to repeatedly ask for hot water in the taps before they finally provided it. This hotel looks like a 4-star from the outside, but the service and cleanliness are worse than a budget Oyo. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place. Srinagar has way better hotels than this one! I have to leave and shift from this hotel the very next day.

Our stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. On the first day, we were too exhausted to notice anything amiss, but the horrors began unfolding from day two. Breakfast, which was supposed to start at 7:30 AM, wasn’t ready even by 8 AM. After a long and tiring day, we returned to the hotel in the evening only to find there were no towels in the room, and the room heater had been switched off remotely. To make matters worse, nobody at the reception answered the phone. Despite personally going to the reception to request towels and to have the heater turned on, it still took another 10 minutes for them to fulfill these basic needs. My child was left shivering after using the washroom, unaware there were no towels and with the room ice-cold. The next night was even more appalling. The restaurant was so small and overcrowded that guests were forced to sit on the floor to eat their meals. It seems the hotel had no regard for capacity limits and was blatantly overbooked. The room conditions were equally atrocious. The linens were dirty, and it took three separate requests before the staff finally replaced the bedsheets and quilt cover. On the day of checkout, the same chaos persisted. The breakfast buffet was half-empty, with many items unavailable. When we called the reception to inform them about our departure and request help with our luggage, no one showed up. We were forced to carry all our bags to the car ourselves. The staff’s attitude throughout our stay was shockingly rude and indifferent (apart from one gentleman), behaving as if they were doing us a favor by letting us stay in their poorly managed establishment. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had during our Kashmir trip. Avoid this place.

It was a pleasure staying at the Dewan for us. The rooms were splendid and ambient, with clean bathrooms and comfy beds. B The housekeeping services were excellent.The Dewan has proved to be very, very vegetarian friendly, for it has a whole section just for vegetarians. Boredom was not a thing in the Dewan, for the coffee shop in the lobby was filled with books, old and new. Overall, the hotel is great for families and soloers. We found all staffs with very pleasing attitude which made us to feel even more comfortable throughout our stay.

The interior of the hotel is gorgeous and alludes luxury. We stayed only for night here and the room we got was quite small. The room warmer could be better considering the extreme temperatures in winter. However, the hot water and water pressure is perfect. We really like that the hotel is near local market area so we could take a walk and enjoy dinner at local restaurants.

Excellent place to stay. You will get an authentic feel of Kashmir. Lobby is very nice. Rooms are spacious and bathroom is well maintained. Breakfast and Dinner both has good spread. Our overall experience was nice. Its little far from city but that is actually good as no pollution and traffic compared to city.

I stayed along with my husband, I must admit the staff is cooperative and location of hotel is also close to popular sites. My review will be incomplete without mentioning f&b staff Nazakat. He is an amazing person. The special credits to F&B Team for amazing us with delicious and tasty food.

We had a fantastic stay at The Dewan by Royal Naqash in Srinagar, staying for over 4 days in complete comfort. The service and staff were exceptional, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The food deserves special mention—delicious and of excellent quality. Kudos to the chefs for their amazing work! The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, with a special thanks to Aseef Bhai for his kindness and assistance, even driving us at night during an emergency. His courteous nature made us feel right at home. The entire property was clean, hygienic, and cozy, with warm room temperatures that kept us comfortable throughout. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return on our next trip to Srinagar!

Staff was amazing with an amazing ambiance. Room was very comfortable. Tanveer who was on front desk was so humble and polite. Food was delicious. Chef was very friendly and even had given parantha on request as it was not there in the menu. Amazing hospitality overall.
