The Mysore Grand

just visited (THE MYSORE GRAND HOTEL) in the previous month, and I was mesmerized to see their luxurious accommodations. Their staff behaviour is also excellent, and I would love to visit again. The secure and safe environment of this hotel will always have my heart. I have recommended that others visit ( THE MYSORE GRAND HOTEL) once, and I can assure you that they will never regret it. I highly recommend (THE MYSORE GRAND) because of its clean and comfortable rooms, top-notch amenities, and attentive staff.

No clue how this is rated 4.6 stars. We paid 4000₹ for one night (including an extra bed), and when we reach the hotel reception, a senior staff starts saying that we did not book an extra bed. The junior staff was sure we did, and even took pictures of our online booking as evidence. She was not taken seriously at first by the senior staff at first. Also, despite paying the extra charge, we did not take an extra bed as the room was too small to have one. They did not remove this charge for us. Coming to the room, the bedsheets had a few stains on them (pictures attached). Also, water was not provided until much later, after we figured out that the room's phone wasn't working. They provided us with 2 little bottles of water from some brand I've never heard of, and the phone wasn't plugged in or sorted out for us either. We asked for 2 extra mugs, and they only gave us one extra. There's also no dustbin in the room, just a tiny one in the bathroom. The bathroom is extremely small, which is not a big deal, but the worst part is that there's no ventilation in there. This means that the bathroom just stinks after using it, and you have to leave the door open to allow the water to dry after taking bath. The hot water is 24/7, and it takes a very long time to come. So you first get around 2 buckets of cold water before the water is warm. Also, the electrical work is just strange. Why is the fan switch not next to the regulator? Why are there 2 switches for the fan? Why is there no plug in point next to where the kettle is kept? Each switchboard does not have a plug-in point. And of course, no ventilation or fan in the bathroom. Overall, it was a poor experience, and at a price of 4000₹, it was even worse. Please don't be scammed by all the good reviews, I have no idea where they're coming from. One good point is the location, it's walking distance from the palace.

Had a Pleasant Stay at The Mysore Grand Hotel – 2 Days I had a great experience staying here for 2 days. The hotel was neat and clean, and the location was very convenient. The staff were extremely polite and helpful throughout my stay. I even fell sick with a fever during the trip, and the hotel staff were genuinely caring and assisted me with everything I needed. Their support made a big difference. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mysore!

This hotel is in center of city. Accessibility to all the places are very easy. Nice and friendly staff. Had a good stay in hotel. Recommended for family stay also.

Hotel is located in city center which makes it convenient for many tourist attractions and eateries. Area is also very calm. Rooms are clean and nice. Also It has open parking and in-house saree shop. However the staffs and receptionist behaviours are not upto the mark. The owner was kind enough to acknowledged it and take necessary actions.

ha...ha...im surprised how this hotel got 4.6 rating. I requested them to replace used blanket n beadspreads. But they don't. I think they save huge money by providing used bedsheets n blankets.

My recent stay at The Mysore Grand Hotel was unsatisfactory. The only positive aspect was the hotel's location, which is near Mysore Palace. Regarding the negatives, the most significant issue was the blankets and bedsheets, which were absolutely terrible. You could see hard, unhygienic stains on them, and even after multiple requests, they provided the same type of stained linens. Furthermore, they did not provide any slippers and tissue rolls so it's better to bring your own or avoid this hotel if that's important to you. This is not a 4-star or 5-star property,do not believe the claims on travel sites and the hotel's own website. It is merely an apartment model with a shop on the ground floor.

I recently stayed at the Mysore Grand Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience. First and foremost, the service was exceptional. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were luxurious, spacious, and immaculately clean, which made my stay comfortable and relaxing. The pricing was reasonable for the quality and comfort offered. The location of the hotel is also a major plus – it’s conveniently located near many of the main attractions in Mysore, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Mysore Grand Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
