Raheem Residency

A great heritage place to stay for a few days of exploring Alleppey and the backwaters, located across a local road by the massive beach. Hotel is a lovely well maintained old traditional building with a swimming pool and restaurant. Paid a bit more for a large traditional room with a large shared lounge and outside seating area next to the pool. Great restaurant and chef with a good menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner also serving alcohol. Guys in the restaurant very helpful and made us feel welcome - a big thankyou to Lee and his colleagues for looking after us so well.|Google maps does not realise that highway 66 is on two elevated sections of flyover, so you cannot access the property from the flyover by the beach - you have to navigate through the adjoining Cullen or Palace   roads to the beach and hotel under the flyovers.

A cool place for chilled beer and kerala coastal fare. Quite sumptuous servings. Location next to Allepey Beach. Heritage interiors.

We absolutely loved the relaxed feel of this place. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area is just brilliant, a real sun trap. The food was great too. We had a beautiful room. Yes there is a flyover just outside which is such a shame. But it did not detract from a fabulous stay. Great if you want a little escape from the business and having a bar is a huge bonus in this part of the world.

We will definitely be returning to the Raheem Residency. The building was full of colonial charm and positioned within a stones throw from Alleppy beach. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We made good use of their pool, restaurant and bar.

Good food and large rooms but need to be maintained and added fresh components. The antique look and feel is good but cleaner upholstery and drapes would be well appreciated. There’s a beautiful pool that even little kids can enjoy. Good and tasty food, we loved the beef and parottas.

Amazing place to stay , The property faces the beach roughly 200 mtrs away , Sunset ethereal... The front office manager Mini was very courteous and helpful. The restaurant - lee and his team members are so jovial happy to serve. The property is heritage, with a vintage hall filled with antique furnitures, and a small library. The swimming pool is well kept cleaned morning and evening by Michel, Had great times, The squid masala was delicious. Scope for improvement- Bar Snacks / little more spread on the breakfast. Will stay again in this property

It is a beautiful heritage stay that was built during the British rule. Right across the beach, you can cross the road and enter the beach. I like the fact that they have tried to restore the place and maintain it to the best of their abilities. We got a beautiful room and it was well maintained. The common area had interesting furniture and books. The pool was also a nice add on, we had a good time there. The breakfast was also good. The only con was the fact that there was a group of men who didn't respect the place. They kept drinking at the pool and the staff here couldn't say anything to them. It was a nuisance since these guys used the pool and others couldn't use it because of them. It was also sad to see them disrespect the property and the old furniture here. They were drunk almost all the time and passed out in the common areas.
