ABRU'S HOLIDAYS

One of the worst stay we had in Kerala. Stay away. Spend a little extra money to stay at somewhere the owner care about you. The floor was dirty, the bed sheet and pillows is also pretty rough and gives off a weird smell. The room is filled with mosquitoes at night, but the owner never mentioned this when we checked in, and doesn’t provide mosquitoes repellent. Worst of all, every time we brought up some issues about the room, the owner first reactions were to blame us for it. Such as “the mess on the floor was from your shoes” while we didn’t wear shoes into our room. On the contrary, he walked into our with his shoes on. Just a very unpleasant encounter and experience overall. Moreover, it was pretty obvious that he want to sweet talk you into buying some backwater tour packages to get some commission money.

Me and daughter stayed for three days at Abrus holidays and we enjoyed every moment there. Jibu is a very kind and responsible host and he tried everything to make our stay in alleppey as nice as possible. He suggested and booked a good and not expensive tour for us, picked us up with his car when there was no bus back to alleppey, suggested us good restaurants and places to visit und also offers great massages. |The room was nice and quiet and we could also enjoy a small Terrasse daytimes. To the beach it was only around 800 meters and also the railwaystation was only a short distance away. Also the price for the room was very fair. One of the best I had, travelling in India. |If I will come back to alleppey, I will definitely stay here again.|Thank you for everything, dear Jibu!

Had a great stay here. The owner is very kind and helped me out in many ways. The bottom floor has a terrace and the upper room has a balcony. You can also book the backwaters tour here with canoeing! Recommend this place!

Jibu the host is really willing to make your stay memorable and will give you good advices for restaurant and tours. Great communication pre organising my stay. The room is spacious with comfortable bed within a 5min walk from the beach

Abru's Holidays is the place to go for a comfortable, well located, well connected, reasonably priced, and well managed stay in Alleppey. The room is spacious with comfortable beds and either a porch or balcony to enjoy the good weather. From Abru's, the beach is just a short ten-minute walk, and you can walk to most parts of the town within twenty minutes. The street on which Abru's is located is quiet and not heavily trafficked; you will have peace in your room and on the balcony/porch. Good wifi is important for me and during my six-night stay, I enjoyed the use of strong, reliable wifi, except during a short area-wide outage. Jibu, your host, is very easy to contact and will respond positively should you have any questions or problems. He is an outstanding, responsible host who speaks excellent English. I would definitely stay here again.

The home stay was a great place stay during my visit because it’s both close to town, backwaters and beach! More like an AirBnb than anything else. Just 2 large, nice clean rooms in a house. The top floor has a balcony while the 1st floor has a terrace. Superb WiFi and a high degree of privacy.
