★★★★Our stay at the hotel was pleasant with equally courteous staff. I was just miffed about the in room snack bar prices which were unreasonable ( Pringle which costs around Rs 115 is priced at Rs 250).|I feel a lot can be done in this regard because I didn't understand the exorbitant pricing on it since it's not a preparation item,it's ready to eat as we purchase outdoors. A little price gap of Rs 20-50 is still understandable since you procure it and make it available at the rooms but a surcharge double the price of the item bewildered me since it looked like an unsavory medium to earn the revenue (which is not needed when you have such a beautiful property and amazing staff).|3 stars for the location and ambience with comfort of stay and 1 extra star for great people like Mrs Vineeta,Mrs Shabana,Miss Reshma, Mr David and many more whose name I don't recollect.|A special thanks to Mr Joseph for welcoming and escorting us at our untimely arrival and departure due to our late night and early morning flights.|I would love to explore other Nemarana properties around the country.|Thank you for having us ,best wishes 🙏.

★★★★British Colonial Period (1795-1947):||The British took over from the Dutch in 1795, and the Tower House, as we know it today, was probably constructed or significantly renovated during this time. The building is believed to have served as a residence for British officials and traders who were involved in the spice trade. Its architecture reflects the colonial British style, with large open spaces, verandas, and high ceilings to suit the tropical climate.

NillBooked this hotel for 2 reasons- 1. Location 2. Neemrana brand name Its a heritage hotel renovated on a old property( Neemranas signature style) Rooms does not have TV(don't know the why?) Some pointers which might help travellers- 1.Size of rooms were really big. 2. Location is bang on start of Fort kochi in front if sea. 3. Food options are less and if you are vegeterian then i am so sorry. 4. Nearby food outlets will help you for options. 5. Foul smell of sea will always be there (this is not a hotel issue) 6. Staff were nice and helpful, given a wonderful neemrana branded cup when doing checkout. 7. Rooms are old and not tech friendly! 8. Breakfrast spread was limited but tasty

★The hospitality industry is so profit driven it has lost its perspective on its true purpose. It is rare to find a great hotel but funnily enough it is rare to find a very bad hotel or a bad hotel experience. Neemrana Tower House in Cochin, was a bad experience for my family.||I booked a family room (1 king bed+1 queen bed) with an extra bed for 2 days and nights, for 4 persons from May 13th to 15th, 3+weeks in advance after clarifying details on their websites, other platforms and by calling the Manager operations, Ms. Vinita Vijayan herself. I was told that yes it was available and that booking any later would not guarantee the same facility. The booking was done online in full payment for 3 persons with extra bed charges to be paid at the hotel on arrival. I reconfirmed our booking a few days before our travel as well. At no point were we aware or told that the premises were being renovated.||Come 13th of May, when we reached the hotel just before 4pm after traveling from Pollachi, we noticed that the hotel was under repair with no staff in sight to immediately receive or guide us. I walked into what seemed like the reception, saw no one and then looked further in, to see a lady who was the manager working on her system in her office. I introduced myself and had to ask her for guidance and help for parking and baggage. After 15 minutes of that, we checked in. I even paid up the additional extra bed charges for 2 days. As we were moving to our room, we saw that all the rooms were being renovated. Our's seemed to be the only one ready. On asking about the pool the manager said that it was being renovated too.||Basically apart from meals in our room or the dining area, the rest of the hotel was unusable. On confronting the manager, she said she had informed us and it was updated on the website. Both NOT TRUE, which I double checked. She offered no compensation or even explanation. That's when we got upset and I asked for some reparation of what was an obvious con. She was unapologetic and almost indifferent!||Long story short, we took care of our own comfort. I insisted on a refund, which was promised with no timeline. Refund of the extra bed was offered too of the day we were staying and the next, but the manager refused to commit in a mail. The next morning despite assurance of a formal mail about the refund as payment was not immediately possible, there was nothing. After insisting, a short mail was sent promising 1 day's refund. We checked out at 10.30am.||After about 2 days, 1 day's + 2 days additional bed charges refund was done ||Throughout the stay there were no efforts to make us comfortable. The breakfast was lack lustre and just average with runny scrambled eggs. Definitely not going to trust the Neemrana brand again. Beautiful property, horrible management.

NillWe had a wonderful stay at the Tower House. The room was spacious, lovely, and full of heritage charm. The bathroom could use an update, but it was perfectly serviceable and large. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially the wonderful day host, Shabana. It was easy to get directions, recommendations, and reservations with her help. The swimming pool is a relaxing oasis; it’s hard to believe that one of the more central areas of Fort Kochi is right outside. There’s so much to see and experience within easy walking distance: shopping, eating, spas, etc. Overall, a great and tranquil experience.

★★★★★I recently stayed at this lovely venue with a group of 22 for yoga and meditation. We had some use of the hotel which we loved. It was everything we hoped for and Vinita the manager and her fabulous team went out of their way to make sure all we needed was catered for. The hotel is soulful with heaps of character and also clean, comfortable and in a perfect location for taking in all the delights of Fort Kochi. The yoga and meditation spaces were perfect. The food was delicious and there were lovely little touches of beauty everywhere from the flowers and plants to the wallhangings and candles. We Westerners had great fun trying on sarees with the female staff too. We had a fabulous Keralan welcome and also had great Ayurvedic massage on offer. Local tours were organised and any questions answered with a big smile. A huge thank you. We will definitely be back.

★★★The rooms have character and the place is full of history but the breakfast is dull, without real typical local food. Staff is a bit unhappy but work efficiently. As a couple, we were offered a room with single beds… too bad. You can hear the noises of the nearby hotel, which is maybe not the best way to enjoy the night. The hotel lacks of activities (especially when you hear that there are more activities in the nearby hotel) so it gives a bit more this dull feeling. You may encounter cockroaches. Overall, you feel that it has been an interesting place during a bygone era, but the lack of care has led to a somehow dilapidated place. We went to different neemrana properties the previous years and this one quite disappointed us.
