The service staff at Lighthouse Bristow are exceptionally warm and friendly, always ensuring guests feel welcome. However, there is often a noticeable delay in service, which seems to stem more from the kitchen than the staff themselves. This can be a bit frustrating for those looking for quick dining. When it comes to food, the menu offers a variety of options (from Chinese to Italian and certain kerala dishes as well) but one dish to avoid is the chicken drumstick, which tends to fall short of expectations. On the brighter side, the hotel has a dedicated smoking area and serves a good selection of liquor, making it a nice place to unwind for those who enjoy a drink.

I had been watching some reels about Old Lighthouse Bristow and was excited to visit, as there are only a few sea-facing resto-bars in Cochin. Unfortunately, the day I visited happened to be a dry day. Regarding the ambience, it’s best to visit before sunset to enjoy the view and relax with a drink while watching the sea. After dark, I didn’t find it worthwhile to stay, as it was quite humid with little to no breeze. The food was underwhelming, and the prices were significantly higher compared to other places with better ambience and closer views of the sea or backwaters.

Went during the sunset evening time. The ambience is good. Place is next to the beach and you get good view of the sunset. The food is mediocre. We are mostly non veg food. Presentation is below par, taste is average, some dishes like squid rings were horrible . Golden fried prawns were just lots of batter with miniscule pieces of prawns. Their alcohol is very limited, just beer and overpriced bottles of wine. The place was overflowing with people so there is no dearth of customers .Id suggest go there for the views drink a beer and go somewhere else for food because the food is just meant to fleace you of Benjamin's!!

Utterly underwhelming. We booked a suite. Dirty. Only cold water available for showers. Breakfast inedible. Pictures are nothing like reality. Trading on its ‘heritage’ past. Desperately needs money spent on it. Don’t waste your money.

Me, and my cousins went for stay at this hotel And we had a horrible experience. The staffs were so rude and condescending. The food was too bad. We wanted to swim but the pool looked disgusting. We couldn’t sleep at night because of mosquitoes. The mini fridge was broken, and the bathroom smelled. It said free breakfast, but it was better to buy the food from outside. The food was very less quantity and bad. They insulted us When we asked about it.

It's a nice bar to chill with the sea breeze in the evening—perfect for a visit. You can enjoy a beer while watching the sea. They do charge premium prices for all food and beverages.
