Xhostel

Great experience during monsoon. Got some nice people to spend time with. Nearby beach, eateries and shopping. It's been more than 2 years but it feels so attached like the fort kochi itself a vibe.

Avoid!!! Booked private rooms, which were very expensive and the rooms were dirty and stunk of mould. After we complained they showed us another room and sprayed it before with air freshener to try and hide the smell of mould. After we said we wanted to leave the tried to make us pay 2000 for "cleaning" don't know what they thought they had cleaned. After some arguments we ended up paying them 700 cleaning fee although we were barely in the rooms and hadn't touched the beds. To top it off one of our group got sick after drinking their "drinking water". We ended up finding much nicer and cleaner rooms for half the price elsewhere.

Lovely place to visit, but not a great place to stay the night. The room was very 'leaky', that being, it doesn't hold the temperature well. A/C blasting at full power at 15c and I'm still drenched in sweat at night. No curtain to block the light that is on in the hallway, making it difficult to sleep at night. There's a rail by the window installed for a curtain though, but no one bothered to actually install one. All but one locker in the room had no functional lock and key - which is a huge no-no in a hostel. Your guests are sharing a common living space with a constant rotation of dozens of strangers, you need to provide a place your guests can keep their valuables safe. If you can't deliver that, you're obviously not taking your guests very seriously. The hostel's redeeming quality is the super nicely decorated and furnished common space on the rooftop.

My friend and I stayed 2 nights in this hostel where we met very welcoming people. The room and host are awesome breakfast is local good food. It's close to Fort Kochi main attractions and has good common areas. I really enjoyed it!

I stayed at the hostel for a week and I was so impressed with the experience that I decided to extended my stay for additional four days😅😅. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always gone above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The rooms were clean well maintained, and the common area was great for meeting other travelers. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. I will definitely be staying here again❤

Worst hostel. No proper rooms. No hygiene restrooms. Would never recommend to anyone.Totally different from pictures. Only good thing is the location.
