★★★★It was the smiles and friendliness of the staff at the entrance to Tom's Old Mansion that drew us in. We had already spent most of the morning looking for room to our liking without success. We were hot, tired and irritable. ||All this changed, however when we were shown a large, cool and airy room on the first floor. It was just what we needed after walking around in the heat of the mid-day sun.||The next day we treated ourselves to an aurevedic massage. We didn't have to go far as it was just across the passage from our room. It is highly recommended and did us the world of good.||Tom's old Mansion is perfectly situated in Princess Street in easy reach of the most important sites in Kochin. It does not serve breakfast, but there are many reasonably priced cafés closeby that serve both Indian and Continental breakfasts.||The staff were always there to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them

★★★★★Only stayed one night but it was clean and a decent price. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were cool and the AC was good. If you’re travelling on a budget this place is a great choice! Would definitely stay here again if I came to Fort Kochi!

★★★★Very good staff. Well priced. Nice seating/eating area outside. I believe there are plans for remodelling. Could be even better afterwards? The hotel is located in heart of Fort Kochi. All restaurants, travel agents, amenities etc. very close. Hotel can arrange trips.

NillFairly okay place in Fort Kochi.... Standard Heritage Rooms are very small approx 9x7 feet with attached bath. . Complimentary Breakfast is minimal with only one omelette, breads, tea or coffee. - - - anything beyond this will have to be paid for. Waiters barely understand English. . Major tourist spots are within walking distance.

★★★Small place with basic amenities but a great location in Fort Kochi. |Rooms are small and the one we had did not have any natural light except for a small window that looked out onto the ayurvedic doctor sitting at his table on the landing.|Helpful staff.|Great cafes are all around and it was easy to get around to see the Kochi Biennale.

NillI can't tell why other reviews said "pricing is good". We didn't feel it is worth the money we paid. Tons of mosquitos in the room with no ability to block them out, medium slow service (asking them to make the hot water work was not easy at all). They got a lot to learn, or at least a new pricing to do.
