Hotel Mango Tree Inn

Very dirty rooms. The sheets had stains on them, basic amenities like drinking glasses were missing. The toilet was so horrible I felt dirty after using it. There was dust everywhere. While the rooms are spacious there is no sense in the way the furniture is arranged like no plug point near the bed. When we booked on agoda it was around 1600 for 1 night. When we got there the person said he didn't know how to find the booking despite us showing the confirmation number. There was no electronic way for them to even check it. So he said the room was 2000. There is also no resturant onsight. So if you want tea or coffee in the morning, you need to look elsewhere. The only positive point is that it's a very central location. Because of how filthy and inconvenient it was, we decided to leave after a few hours and not stay the night.

I travelled to kochi on business and happened to stay at the house of yesudas and it was perfect. Got a warm welcome and that was enough to know what was to expect. Room was spacious enough with all the basic amenities. The hotel had a wonderful ambience to itself. Guys working there are fabulous. Helped me through my needs in an unfamiliar city. Had a wonderful stay. Kochi is a beautiful city with wonderful hospitality. Do give a visit

If you are looking for a perfect less-expensive home-stay experience, then this is the place for you. It's the birth place of famous singer K.J. Yesudas and his house is turned into a hotel. ||I stayed there for a day with my wife last week and what we really liked is the serene and beautiful environment. The place also has a mango tree (so this is also known as Mango tree hotel) and once you get outside the place, you will be in midst of local Kochi streets having small shops for handicraft antique items, European style cafes and restaurants. Its very near to famous Fort Kochi beach and don't forget to visit Dutch Cemetery and St. Cathedral church.Overall its a nice experience and staff was very courteous.

We stayed here for a night while visiting Kochi. The hotel is centrally located to all the attractions in Kochi. You can walk down from the bus stand / ferry dock - they are 10 mins away. ||However ! This place is not ready for guests yet. This was supposed to be a heritage property but it has seen no maintenance or modernization. We were first given a room that had a bathtub with the shower on the outside leaving the entire bathroom drenched after a shower. After changing rooms, the new one wasnt cleaned. The bedding and room had musty odor. The onsite restaurant was in shambles. We were told the breakfast would be prepared and served here. We were worried what we'd end up getting but luckily they brought in the food from outside.||The staff were helpful though but couldnt really do much as it looks like the management is treating this place with apathy.

Moderate budget rooms.! The rooms are clean, have A/C and fan and a queen size bed. No gud view but it is quiet peaceful.

Worst hotel experience . This is a one star dump of a hotel. I was booked through booking com to a hotel that didn't actually exist. I was picked up at the airport and taken here. Only lasted a few hours, in which time I was eaten alive by mosquitoes. The bathroom....filthy. and a breeding ground for the mozzies. So much wrong with this place. Also known as house of Yasudas. Avoid at all costs

room sizes are pretty good and location too. love the ambience. hospitality is superb.front desk manager is awesome.room boy(sushil) is very helpful and attentive too.thanks to the front office manager for allowing for late check-out,according to my flight time.

Found this hotel by chance driving around at Kochi. all attractions at Fort Kochi nearby and excellent location. Hotel staff were friendly and clean rooms. I could park the bike inside the compound safe. met a biker from Sweden too there. overall excellent stay
