I have booked a room with my family but when we entered the staff behaved badly to me and my family he was also drunk and behaved badly when we asked for a towel which was their responsibility. The night staff was verry drunked and behaved poorly worst experience

Thanks so much for such a lovely time. The staff here are so sweet and helpful. It felt more like a home than a hotel. The room was big bright and clean. And the price was very reasonable. A special thanks to Patrick for being such a great host. We hope to return to fort castle.

Filthy and disgusting … The staff was ok. Basically, the hotel smells like garbage, room wasn’t clean. In fact, there were cockroaches 🪳 in the bathroom. Lastly, the breakfast they served was to die… of ⚰️👀. Think we were the only guests there - understandably. Will not return.

Worst experience 1. Room was unclean ... mat was very dirty, bed cover has holes and was burnt , bed sheet had spots all over, bathroom drainage had hairs and was stinky ..... and this is when we called twice to hotel to keep a clean room ready since we were supposed to reach around 9.30 pm there. 2. Reception personel was only half intrested and no house keeping service available 24x7 , 3. Furniture in room is good but poorly maintained 4. Zero effort from the hotel managemnet to make the stay comfortable ... which is generally opposite of other staying at other options at fort kochi which offer more amicable expireince such as mothers inn and walton homestay. Dont fall for the images shown on websites it might be the first image when it was inaugrated , since then there has been no proper maintanence of property and attitude of staff is non-accomodating.

Worst experience ever. Zero maintenance, romms smaller than a bathroom , no air ventilation no natural light. Bathrooms are stinky, whole building stinks. Never book this hotel. Look for something else.

Located in a popular zone, Fort Castle is a great option if your are looking for affordable places. The hotel is great. Rooms are big. Also, if you are willing to walk around you can go to the popular places around like Mattancherry, the Synagogue, and the museums in between. Fort Kochi is a safe place. Very important!! If you are looking for nice beaches in Fort Kochi, this is NOT the place. In Google Maps you can see two beaches but truth is there's barely room to go in the water.
