This is a lovely hotel in a nice part of town, close to lots of shops, restaurants and places to see. |The hotel staff are really nice and exceptionally helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and quiet at night as it is slightly removed from the more touristy areas by the sea. Rooms are lovely. Breakfast was great. |Thanks a million to everyone at Daffodils Spice Court, Kochi. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at your hotel before leaving to explore more of Kerala. |Siobhán

We arrived at the hotel, after a 18 hour journey from central India - exhausted and looking forward to be welcomed only to find the hotel closed. |We had booked in September (for March 25) and had correspondence from the hotel requesting check in times etc. |There was someone at the hotel who explained the hotel was closed for refurbishment and all the bookings had been cancelled. But mine had not been. |I had to then request to cancel via booking.com and hope the would agree to waiver the fee for cancellation. |(Which they did) |But we then had to find somewhere else to stay nearby at 9 o’clock in the evening.|So I can’t comment on the actual hotel but all I can say is that it looked nothing like the photos. From the outside It looked very run down - but maybe the refurbishment will help ?

Clean and well located great staff. Located in the jew town 3 min walk from historic Cynagog and big antiques shops. 10 min in tuktuk to Vasco de Gama square|Clean..no mosquitoes like in some several stars hotel of fort Cochin. Breakfast home made and some dishes available|Very helpful staff|Rooms are simple but very convinient with modern bathroom. Very neat. Dedicated staff

There were 2 reasons why this was a fantastic stay. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the atmospheric Jewtown and the Dutch Palace and with plenty of cafes and restaurants also just a short walk away. Breakfast was very good and plentiful but the biggest reason for it being a great stay was Alain who was so helpful when we wanted to arrange a trip on an Alleppey houseboat even managing to get me a discount and always available with advice on the locality and offers of assistance to arrange transport. He even was happy to look after our luggage when we checked out to spend the last night of our holiday on a houseboat. Highly recommended.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of booking a stay at Hotel Daffodils spice court, Kochi for a family vacation, and I must say that my overall experience has left me feeling quite dissatisfied. The booking process was straightforward, and according to the terms and conditions, I was eligible for a refund if I cancelled within a specified timeframe. Unfortunately, I had to call off my trip due to unforeseen circumstances & and I found myself needing to cancel my reservation well within the stipulated period. Upon contacting the hotel through telephone & email, I was assured that my booking is cancelled & I will be refunded the whole amount by Mr Alain Joseph, the manager of the property. I have been patiently waiting for 2 weeks now but still haven’t received the refund despite numerous reminders on phone & email. Every time I am told an absurd reason by Mr Alain Joseph with a commitment that it will be done soon. Now they have stopped replying to my messages or emails & even stopped taking my calls. Despite adhering to the rules outlined in their policy, the hotel is delaying to refund my booking amount resulting in a frustrating ordeal for me as a guest. It is disheartening to see such a dismissive attitude from a service-oriented industry, especially when the hotel's policies explicitly state otherwise. Not only are they failing to honour their own refund policy, but this lack of transparency and communication has exacerbated my dissatisfaction. I would caution potential guests to carefully consider this hotel's refund policies and their commitment to customer service before making a reservation. While the facilities and location may be appealing, the unscrupulous behaviour over refund raises serious concerns about the overall customer experience.

From the minute we arrived, Alain and the Daffodils' staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The accommodations are extremely comfortable, rooms are spacious and very clean. A truly charming boutique hotel. What a delightful little find in the Kochi Jew Town area. Right around the corner from amazing antique and quality gift and spice shops, an area rich in history, culture and local cuisine. And, just a short auto rickshaw ride to the Fort Kochi area. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

This is one of the best places to stay near Fort Kochi. It's quiet and peaceful. The staff and manager, Aneesh are really friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and prepared well. The entire experience feels as if we were really taken care of, which is not something you can say about most hotels. In summary, it's a small and cute place which one must try if looking for some chill time :)

We stayed here three nights and were very happy with everthing. The room was very clean, daily room service, good shower, quiet. The best was the breakfast (huge fruit plate, toast, yogurt, good coffee, omelette or Indian style, if you like). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location too - 5 min walk from the jewish synagoge and only 10 min tuk tuk ride to Fort Cochi.||Excellent value for money!
